Antibes has a variety of beaches covered with soft golden sand where visitors and enjoy the amazing azur blue water of the French Riviera--all within walking distance. The closest public beach are La Gravette and Salis Beaches--both under 10 minute walk away. For those seeking a more exclusive beach experience, there are several private beaches with restaurants and beach loungers for hire. We recommend Royal Beach (Salis) and Keller Beach (La Garoupe).
La Gravette Beach
Closest public beach to Antibes center located next to the port. This beach is very popular with families with children.
Juan Les Pins Beach
Home to Antibes' Jazz Festival, this beach is located about 20 minutes from Antibes. There is a Petit Train leaving from central Antibes to Juan Les Pins during the summer months.
This beautiful beach is about ten minute walk from Antibes. Royal Beach, one of our favorite beach restaurants, is located here.
One of our favorite activities in the summer is to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Royal Beach (Salis) and then relaxing on one of their sun loungers. Tel: 04 93 67 14 06.
Cap d'Antibes beaches
The Cap d'Antibes trail has several breathtaking beaches. We recommend picnicking at a beach near the Villa Eilenroc.
Keller Beach (Garoupe)
Keller Beach is another popular private beach club on La Garoupe Beach. This beach is located at the start of the Cap d'Antibes hiking trail. Tel: 04 93 61 33 74.

Day trips from Antibes
Visitors to Antibes have a wide selection of places to visit within one hour reach. Given the well-developed train and bus network, guests do not need to have a car to explore the Cote d'Azur. We list some of our favorite day-trip destinations below.
Nice is about 20 minutes away from Antibes by train. Explore the old town or walk along the Promenade des Anglais for a stunning view of the Mediterranean.
The ritzy Principality of Monaco is located 45 minutes from Antibes. You can try your luck at one of the Grand Casino's roulette tables or visit the Prince's Palace.
Located near Monaco, we recommend a visit to the medieval village of Eze with its stunning vistas of the Riviera.
Located 15 minutes from Antibes by train, Cannes is a great destination for high-end designer boutiques. Visitors also go spot celebrities during the Film Festival.
Ile Ste. Marguerite
Just off the coast of Cannes, Ile Ste. Marguerite is great for picnicing and swimming. There is a boat to the island from Juan Les Pins during the summer season.
This glamorous fishing village is a playground for the rich and famous during the summer months. A boat leaves from Juan Les Pins to St. Tropez during the summer months.
St Paul de Vence
This medieval village is located about 30 minutes from Antibes and is known for its art galleries, Fondation Maeght Modern Art Museum, and Provencal shops.
Continuing 30 minutes up from St. Paul de Vence is Grasse, best known for its perfume industry. We recommend visiting Fragonard perfume factory and museum.
For guests who want to experience a bit of Italy, Ventimiglia is about an hour away from Antibes by train. The town is best know for its market on Fridays.
