BOULANGERIE
Boulangerie Veziano
Boulangerie Veziano is probably the most famed boulangerie on the Cote d’Azur. Handed down through generations since it opened in 1924, it’s now owned by the colourful Jean Paul Veziano and his bread is served at all the top hotels and restaurants in the region. Do try the “pissaladière”- a delightful fired onion pizza – here, it’s their speciality along with the “tarte aux blettes” swiss chard pie.
L’Epi d’Or
This is also one of the oldest and most traditional boulangeries in Antibes. The owners today are Jerome and Sandrine, cousins. It was their grandparents that first opened the shop 50 years ago and they still use their recipes today. Try their specialty, the mini “Michette”, a little bread with a savoury topping, they have 16 varieties to choose from.

Lilian Bonnefoi
Lillian Bonnefoi is an exceptional pâtissier. He was the head pastry chef at the world-renowned Hotel du Cap, Eden Roc for 20 years. He now operates a boutique on Avenue Robert Soleau and a café/ bakery/cooking school located at the picturesque Place du Safranier where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy breakfast and brunch (everyday except on Mondays).
Souff’Lemon
A unique cake shop open since 1993. Joelle Juan carries on her family tradition the Souff’lemon, a cold, fluffy, light lemon soufflé. Follow Xaviers recommendation from Flacons de Vins and serve it with a Moscato d’Asti from his store.

Chez Mô
The fish shop of the very popular traditional fish restaurant Albert 1er. Here you can buy fabulous “Plateaux de Fruits de Mer” seafood platters, the freshest sushi and sashimi and cooked plates including the restaurant’s specialty seafood paella, all to take away. They also have a few seats facing the sea if you fancy eating at the counter.

Flacons Divins
Xavier Dinet has an exceptional knowledge of wine! Before opening his cellar in Antibes, he was the head sommelier at the world-famous Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, the Louis XV Restaurant in Monaco and le Bristol Paris. The concept is “A l’image d’une parfumerie” like a perfume shop. It’s the only cave on the Côte d’Azur where you can taste the wine before you buy. Xavier also has an excellent knowledge of food and wine pairings.
L’Univers de la Guildive
The 1st rum cellar in Antibes! The owner Sylvie Richefeu is passionate about rums from all over the world, and the cellar is full of rare and fine rums. She also does tastings.

At the Marché Provencal, Balade en Provence is a treasure-trove of olive oils, jams, tapenades, mustards, honeys and Provençal aperitifs.
La Ferme au Foie Gras
This shop is specialised in foie gras and gourmet foods as well as baguette sandwiches and freshly made salads. Ideal if you’re on your way to the beach
Signori Tartufi
Everything truffle, sauces, oils, powders and salts, and even truffle honey. You’ll smell this shop way before you arrive!

Boucherie Normande
A wonderfully butcher shop ld-fashioned that’s been here since 1973 and is run by father and son the Bertaina’s (and as son said, ‘mostly son’).

Au Tournebroche
This rotisserie has been a fixture on Rue Georges Clemenceau for many decades, they make amazing homemade crisps.

Do try their “Petits farcis” a traditional Nicois dish of roasted, stuffed vegetables.
La Charcuterie Lyonnaise
A fabulously traditional artisan traiteur which first opened in the 1920’s. Jean Francois Bricaud and his brigade prepare a large daily menu which changes each week. Go for their specialties “boudin noir”, cooked ham on the bone and smoked salmon. There is always a long queue outside, especially at weekends.

Gelateria del Porto
Ice-cream heaven in Antibes! This has the reputation of being the best gelateria on the Cote d’Azur. They make their ice-creams and sorbets fresh every morning from locally sourced fruits. Just be prepared for the queue which can often be half an hour long in the high season.

Nordic Temptations
A small boutique next to La Poste, Nordic Temptations is bedecked with Scandinavian flags. It offers a wide range of Scandinavian products. One can have a coffee break at any time during the day in their tea room decorated with Nordic artwork. The selection of products is authentic and renewed frequently. Special food can be pre-ordered for Christmas and they host several food events during the year.

This well-stocked grocery store has selection of grocery items from the UK including baked beans, meat pies, Indian food and spices and even clotted cream for scones.
Asia Frères
This grocery store has all the ingredients needed to prepare an authentic Asian meal. It has fresh, frozen and dried food as well as a wide selection of sauces.
