L'Atelier Reviews

Tranquil Apt in heart of Antibes

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Antibes, exactly as you see in the pictures.

Great communication with owners and Suzanne their agent in Antibes. My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 1 week and which had everything we needed. No need to pack toiletries or beach towels... or even a beach bag as this apartment has it all and more. Super comfortable bed and soft bedding with over-sized cushions gives the bedroom a truly luxurious feel. We have already recommended the apartment to other friends who love Antibes and will definitely be back!

Thanks for making our 'babymoon' as truly relaxing getaway!

Perfect location, nicely appointed

L'Atelier is located on a quiet, small residential street right in the heart of the old town.  We enjoyed the quaint little supermarket and several bakeries right around the corner, restaurants and terraces galore for “l’aperitif” only one or two blocks away, an easy walk to the Provence market and other charming destinations – we were in heaven!

The welcome was great and the ground floor flat in a delightful old renovated building was a gem: an ideal couple’s retreat with all the mod cons (even one of George Cloonie’s Nespresso machines …), tastefully decorated, and all in pristine condition - we couldn’t have wished for more.

Intimate and elegant

L'Atelier provided a perfect place for us to escape to. It's an elegantly appointed, intimate hideaway, and Tom & Paul are very thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

As described in the listing, this apartment evokes an artist's studio, and it's the small design touches make it feel like no mere vacation rental. Everything for a fully relaxing break is provided: there is a fully functional kitchen, dependable WiFi, espresso machine and tea making facilities, air conditioning and plenty of power outlets.

The bedroom, at the back of the apartment, is not only fitted with a very comfortable bed, but was also very peaceful during our stay, since L'Atelier is tucked away in a quiet side street just off one of the main squares in old Antibes.

There is ample closet space to hang clothes. The attention to detail - we were particularly struck by the beautiful tiles - round out the feeling of elegance. We found it especially thoughtful that beach towels were right there so all we had to do was grab them and walk to the beach!

Although there is paid parking a short walk away, we found we really didn't need the car we'd rented since everything in old Antibes - the Provencal market, the bakeries, the restaurants, the surprisingly lovely city beach, the Picasso museum - is easily within walking distance.

A stunning apartment!

L'Atelier is a beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean apartment with every need thoughtfully catered for. We were so impressed with the well stocked welcome basket, fresh cut flowers and the trouble Tom and Paul had taken to include details of local amenities, restaurants, travel advice plus information on how to use the facilities in the property.

Superb apartment

L'Atelier is situated in the centre of the 'old town ' of Antibes.

The apartment was immaculately clean with everything we needed for our 12 night stay, excellent kitchen amenities, washing macine/dryer, a/c, large comfy bed with quality linen, fluffy towels & even a beach bag & beach towels. Very thoughtful!!

The arrival/departure procedure is handled by a very lovely lady named Suzanne & was very easy & efficient & friendly! The security deposit was also refunded promptly. The situation of the apartment was fantastic, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, beaches,, banks etc etc all within a few minutes walk. The train station is 10 mins walk & the train goes all along the coast, e.g. Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo so no need for a car. We would recommend highly to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world.

The location of this apartment is perfect - on a peaceful, beautiful and rustic cobbled street, yet only 5 minute walk to the beaches and around the corner from lots of restaurants and bars. Choopy's (cupcake shop on the corner by the apartment) does an excellent breakfast and has lots of gluten free options - pancakes, cakes, sandwiches etc.

Carrefour supermarket just round the corner and very convenient. The apartment itself is of a very high quality (air conditioning much needed after a day at the beach!) and my partner and I really appreciated the small touches that make this place so special - beach towels and parasol, well stocked kitchen, quality of appliances.

Suzanne, the property manager, is delightful and made us feel very welcome. The excellent wifi meant we could email her with any questions and she was always quick to respond and very helpful. Overall, I cannot recommend this apartment enough! If I am in Antibes again I shall definitely stay here.

Antibes as we've always imagined

From the moment that one of the staff greeted us in the small square to personally saying goodbye on the last day, our stay here was wonderful.

Our hosts had looked after everything up until the last detail- from the simple, rustic and stylish decor laced with well chosen artwork and L'Occitane amenities, to the well-stocked welcome basket and bottle of Rosé.

The lighting- always an issue with rentals-was perfect, with everything on dimmers, and they even provided a wonderful selection of magazines, books and literature- all connected to the Côte d'Azur. The apartment was newly renovated and everything functioned perfectly. Not to mention that the location of the apartment was superb, around the corner from some great restaurants, shops, a supermarket, the produce and food market and the Musée Picasso.
