An unforgettable vacation The apartment is perfect for a couple wishing to explore the Cote d'Azur. It is located in the center of the old city and we enjoyed walking everywhere through the narrow alleyways. It has a lot of character and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. And Antibes was a great departure point for all the beautiful cities nearby. We look forward to going back!
Roberto M.6/16/2022If we could give it six stars we would! What an absolute gem of a property and location.
The website images allude to something special but they fail to do justice to the Maison du Village that confronts you in the flesh. Superbly appointed and equipped, not only was there a pan (and tightly fitting lid) that could accommodate the DIY moules mariniere but also an oyster shucking knife and classy skandi crockery to present them on.
Sipping the complimentary bottle of Cotes de Provence on the balcony terrace in the early evening sun was simply sensational. One of those places that has you on RightMove straight away and wondering what the resale value of a kidney actually is.
In terms of location it couldn’t be better and Antibes has so much to offer, almost all of which is expertly documented/curated in the Insider Guide (well worth the pre-trip investment).
As I said, if we could give it six stars we would!

Highly recommend this superb house in the heart of Antibes.Roland K.1/12/2022We had a wonderful stay at the Clos des Vignes: Tom & Paul were great hosts, responsive and thoughtful. The house is charming, entirely renovated and functional while retaining the character and authenticity of Old Antibes. We particularly enjoyed the two terraces with view on the Cap. Ideally located, the house is two minutes from the Provencal Market, the Picasso Museum, and the sea. We know Antibes well - this place made our stay a very special moment.
Max B.12/15/2021We stayed at Clos de Vignes for a week in September and I have been meaning to write a review ever since. The property is beautiful, decorated in a fresh yet cosy style; immaculately clean; the location is lovely; and the bathroom and appliances are all top notch. In addition, there are top quality linens and towels; beach bags packed and ready to go with plush beach towels; a Nespresso machine; sufficient laundry detergent and other items you would use for a week; and a cool bottle of rose in the fridge on arrival. What more could you ask for? Tom and Paul are also phenomenal hosts, and the personal check in/check out by Suzanne is also lovely. It is clear that everyone wants you to have a wonderful vacation. We were so sad to leave at the end of the week!
Alexandra K.11/16/2020A Perfect Stay! Maison du Village is in the perfect location in Antibes and even better than shown in the photos. It is spacious with a great kitchen fully equipped to cook meals. It is also extremely quiet which was nice after a long day at the beach. We had a great time and hope to return soon.

Michelle E.9/06/2020We had a fabulous month's stay in this lovely apartment. Everything was clean, very comfortable with everything you require. The location is perfect with views of the water from the front window and the markets, cafes, bars and restaurants just a few steps away. Suzanne met us on arrival which was lovely and was available if needed. Would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning one day.
Robyn M.8/18/2020Fantastic apartment and service. We just spent a week staying at Porte de L’orme. We come to Antibes every year but this is the first time we have rented a property through Antibes Rental and it will not be the last. From the moment we made our first enquiry the communication has been outstanding. The property was exceptionally clean and it really felt like someone cared about every aspect of it. It was set up beautifully and had all the small extra's that really make a stay that extra bit special. The location for us as a family of 3 who don't like to cook too much was just perfect. We really cannot recommend the team and the property highly enough. See you again.

Ashley S.7/11/2020We recently spent a very enjoyable week at Maison du Village, the property is truly lovely - extremely well designed and very well equipped - the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable coupled with excellent linens - some of the best I have enjoyed in a rental property. Communication with the Antibes Rentals Team was efficient and they provided a great level of support prior to arrival and during our stay. I would highly recommend Antibes Rentals and hope to stay with them again in the future!
Tom C.5/25/2020This was our third stay at La Calado. I would give 6 stars if I could. This home is stunningly beautiful. An oasis in the South, a short walk from the shore, old town and nice restaurants and a boulangerie. Every bit of this home is appointed perfectly, so that our stays feel like we are cocooned in peace and joy. There are numerous places in the home or garde to sit peacefully, read, chat with friends, dine outdoors, etc. The pool is magnificent. Just thinking about it all makes me eager to return soon. It really is perfect.
Jim F.5/19/2020Ausserordentlich schöne Villa in Antibes! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Thierry B.3/23/2020We stayed in L'atelier Summer 2019 and had an absolutely perfect stay. Tom & Paul have a really good eye for details - the apartment was beautifully decorated and kept all the amenities which we needed for our stay.
They truly offer a high end stay and a lot higher value in comparison to many other accommodations in Antibes.Emelie K.3/17/2020My wife and I recently rented Maison Provencale and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodation .We have rented many apartments in Europe over the last 10 years and this is by far the nicest. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the attention to detail is impressive. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms are ultra luxurious with heated floors and ambient lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were clean and crisp. The outdoor living space is a nice addition that we enjoyed even at the beginning of March. . English TV and Netflix were a very welcone addition and the wifi worked without a hitch. We also were able to check out one of the other properties and it was equally as well done. I should also add that Tom was a wonderful host and was extremely attentive to any question and replied immediately. They have even written an Antibes travel book that was unbelievably helpful and it is yours to take home. My only concern in writing such a positive review is that because of demand we may not be able to secure our dates next year. Honestly there was nothing that I would change and we hope to be back next year
paul3/11/2020We spent a wonderful week in L’Atelier apartment in Antibes. Tom was responsive to our inquiries as was Suzanne at check-in. The apartment is perfect for two. Located in the pedestrian Old Antibes it is quiet and safe. The beautiful decor combined with the updated interior makes L’Atelier the comfortable and beautiful place you want to come home to after long days of touring on the Riviera. The fridge was stocked with starter beverages; laundry and dishwasher detergent were provided; luxury linens and toiletries were part of the bedroom and bathroom. We couldn’t ask for a better holiday home.
Emily C.11/29/2019This home is absolutely awesome. Right in the heart of Antibes and close to everything you need or want to do. The hosts have thought of virtually everything you will need during your stay. The home is decorated very nicely and is so comfortable. We absolutely loved staying there.
Stephen11/15/2019We rented La Maison Provençale ‘La Calado’ for 2 weeks. The house is outstanding, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were feeling at home. The garden is lovely and a great place to eat outside. We could use the beautiful pool on the other side of the house where the owners, Paul and Tom, live. They were so helpful. They are wonderful people. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the old town. We tried several boulangeries and we were in heaven. We walked to the marché Provençal everyday. Antibes is a charming town near St Paul de Vence, Eze, Nice... Plenty of things to do and see. We rented a car and drove to Aix-en-Provence in 1 hour 30. There is a parking at the house. We loved the place and we will be back. Thank you so much, Paul and Tom. You made our stay beautiful.
Fabienne H.10/07/2019Wonderful, super stylish, just perfect, one bedroom apartment. Attention to details and lovely decoration. So nice you almost don’t want to leave the place to explore Antibes. We particularly appreciated the welcome package. Location is great. Quiet at night but also in the middle of it all. The hosts were always available. Smooth communication. We got nice suggestions for diner. You just feel comfortable right away. Definitely a place to come back to. Highly recommended!
Andres8/18/2019Perfect Place to stay in Antibes Location was perfect. Only a 10-minute walk to the beach and close to shops, great restaurants, and grocery stores. The place was very clean and beautiful. It is a perfect place to stay with your family while you are in Antibes! Would definitely go back again.

Julia G.7/25/2019Very Comfortable, well located and very well curated This was just as advertised if not better. Comfortable King bed, good shower with great water pressure, W/D available, good A/C, charming location in the old town (no view), quick walk to market, boat harbor, beach & tons of good restaurants, quiet at night, well appointed small kitchen, Highly recommended.

Rosalind H.7/08/2019My friends and I stayed at Maison du Village for 3 weeks. I have never stayed at a better rental than this one. My friends agree. They all love me because I picked this place! You won't disappoint if you do the same.
The location is perfect in the heart of old Antibes. It is a 10 minute walk to everywhere - the beach, the finest restaurants and boutiques, museums, etc. The home is located on a quiet pedestrian street less than 2 blocks from the post office and very quiet.
The home itself was fantastic for many reasons:
(1) Bedrooms: Each of the 3 bedrooms had a nice shower (one with bathtub) and a king size bed (which could be divided into twins if needed). The linens were of high quality and the beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. We all sleep very lightly and the bedrooms were so quiet. We did not hear any street noise. We all slept very well here during our stay.
(2) Bathrooms: The showers had great water pressure and the hot water never ran out. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were all included and of high quality - which was very nice and rare for rentals these days.
(3) The clothes washer and dryer (yes dryer) worked perfectly. Laundry detergent was provided which is also very rare and very much appreciated..
(4) Kitchen: All of the kitchen appliances worked as expected. We did not have any difficulties. There is a Nespresso machine for coffee which worked overtime for us. It is a very well equipped kitchen if you want to cook.
(5) Common space: There is great common space with enough seating around the dining room table for 6 comfortably. The outside patio is very pleasant with a grill, table, chairs and beautiful plants. The couch/chairs throughout the house are very comfortable and modern.
(6) Entire place was very clean and beautifully cared for. Cleaning staff came in weekly to change the linens and clean the place.
We only had a couple of questions during our stay and Suzanne was very prompt in answering each time (she must never put down her phone). Additionally, she was extremely helpful. She gave us a thorough overview of the house. It was wonderful to also be treated to a bottle of wine and fresh fruit upon arrival.
All in all, you cannot go wrong selecting this home and you will be popular with your friends and family for doing so. We have already made plans to return next year.Ann C.6/14/2019A (French) home away from home We did a three week trip around France and Spain and found L'Atelier to be the best of the apartments we rented. Both the apartments were perfect for our needs. They are both lovely and so well equipped with everything anyone would need, particularly after flying in from the United States. Both apartments were extremely clean with lovely linens and sundries. Everything we needed to cook some wonderful meals or just to sit together and visit. This is our second time in Antibes and it just keeps getting better and better as your service is fantastic. Lots of wonderful suggestions for meals and activities in your Antibes guide.
Nancy S.5/07/2019A beautiful townhouse in the heart of old town, where everything you need is provided. Minutes walk from a beautiful beach, a few steps from the markets, coffee, bakeries and shopping. The styling of the house makes you think twice about going out for the day as you could just sit back, cook the produce from the markets and enjoy a wine. Loved it!
Nicole4/30/2019Thank you for a wonderful week. It was truly a perfect place...charming with such a lovely setting in Old Town. We had our two children and daughter in law there with our baby grandson and we couldn't have asked for more. Suzanne was gracious and very helpful. We had everything that we needed. We loved the patio and watching the street as the day went by.. The parking was very easy and reasonable under the harbor. All in all it was a 10/10. Would highly recommend this...
Annette4/20/2019Perfect Location We stayed in villa Calado for a week in early April. This didn’t include the full villa but was the larger half of the villa with a private pool.
We had high expectations from reviewing the villa online and had also previously stayed in other Antibes rental properties. Our expectations were surpassed however - the villa Colado is phenomenal!! Every room is well stocked with anything you will ever need from crockery, toiletries to beach bags. The house indoors and outdoors is incredibly comfortable with the standard of furnishings being extremely high. The gardens have multiple hideaway spots and various seating areas around the house and pool. The pool is heated and of a good size. We will definitely return to Calado and would recommend without hesitation.Jennifer M.4/14/2019Perfect Location We stayed in villa Calado for a week in early April. There is enough room for one or two people to cook, eat, sleep, relax and do anything else comfortably. On arrival in the kitchen/living area there were fresh groceries in the fridge, a coffee maker c/w capsules, oven, microwave, dishwasher and plenty crockery, cutlery and glasses etc.
The decor is fresh and a small dining table, two chairs and a sofa create the living space.
A television with access to Netflix and Apple TV (and easy to follow instructions) completes the room.
At the rear is a very comfortable double bedroom area with two good sized inbuilt wardrobes and more storage via a wall rail if needed. A shelf above the bed provides a little more space for things and there are two classy adjustable bedside lamps - perfect.
Adjacent to this room via a sliding wooden feature-door is a tiled shower cubicle, white porcelain sink and WC all of which are very clean and in excellent condition. There is also a first aid kit provided.
The two windows at the front of the property are shuttered externally and provide excellent insulation from any outside sounds so you can expect a very good nights sleep.
Below the windows are some well-maintained colourful flowers.
Finally, there is an up to date guide book provided with all you would expect from this and more. Enjoy!!Philip4/11/2019Magnifique!
Janett3/17/2019If you want your own private spot with enough space inside as well as outside. If you appreciate good cooking opertunity, quiet neighborhood as well as being close to the centre of Antibe, La Maison Provencale is an excellent choice.
Even we spent our one-week-holliday in the wintertime without using the pool we had a great time especially in the evening when we decided to make our own dinner based on good French products.
The house was tastfully decorated with a sublime mix of new and old. Someone definitively has got the touch.
We did not really miss anything and the host was serviceminded and professional yet informell.
Tom, NorwayTom-Ole S.2/06/2019My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house - the one that thinks of everything you might need, styles it so it feels welcoming and pays attention to every detail. From the beach towels rolled into beach bags ready for use, to beautiful shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathrooms to a full bottle of milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. We loved the style of the apartment. The bathrooms were a highlight. From the gorgeous tiles, the stone wall, the new shower taps/heads, to the framed original photographs throughout. We loved the location too!!! So central to all the Old Town has to offer. This apartment truly enhanced our holiday experience. I have already recommended it to friends!

Jessica1/17/2019Great holiday house in old Antibes Beautifully restored house in a great location in the old town, right next to the Picasso museum, the Market, and a stone’s throw from the sea. We enjoyed shopping in the market and cooking for ourselves as well eating out. Good for anyone who likes to holiday without a car as everything is on the doorstop, and you might struggle to park if you did have a car. We used the coastal train for our excursions, but chose to spend time in Antibes too. Very warm welcome from owners Paul and Tom. Thank you.

Mary S.1/03/2019All mod cons in a beautiful, old building This property is full of character, tasteful and so well equipped we could not think of anything that it doesn't have. The ancient street is peaceful and tranquil but a two minute stroll takes you to Antibes' fabulous, Provencal market and the many restaurants and bars of the old town. We loved everything about our stay and have resolved to return.

James B.11/06/2018This is a very well located small apartment that works well for 2 people. The linens and toiletries are luxurious, it was great to have 2 clothes closets to put away our stuff, and the kitchen was very well equipped for preparation of simple meals. WE liked having a Nespresso machine and there is even a laundry shared with upstairs flat. The best part is the wonderful location on the edge of the old town with plethora of cafes, boulangeries, shops and restaurants nearby and an easy walk to bus and trains. It is totally possible to take an express bus from Nice airport and be at the apartment in about an hour. Manager Suzanne is helpful and efficient. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. And the owners even provide a helpful little book (written by them) Antibes Insider.
Heidi10/15/2018If I could live here forever, I would This apartment was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. On the inside, It was spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and full of character. Once you walk out the front door, you are steps away from a great view of the sea, the Picasso Museum, tons of restaurants and most importantly the daily Antibes market. Antibes is an amazing beach town full of life with a relaxed atmosphere. Nice and Cannes are about a twenty minute train ride away and Monaco is about thirty minutes away. Tom and Paul, who operate Antibes-Rentals, did a great job communicating with us before, during and after our weeklong stay. My wife and I are anxious to return here in the future and we highly recommend this property.

Lawrence C.10/14/2018Really nice house, in a quiet street, and just 30 seconds from a great sea view (just walk out to see the sunrise, then come back in for a coffee). And another 30 seconds from the Marché Provencal. The only disturbance was the garbage truck in the morning (2 minutes of noise). Very bright and friendly rooms upstairs, dining area downstairs is a bit dark (great in summer, I guess, but you need to turn on the lights when you sit there, even throughout the day). Private table in the shared garden is brighter and also very comfortable (if you don't mind other guests walking past and people from the street casually looking in). Equipment is way above average, they essentially have everything you need. Except an extra blanket. Bathrooms and showers (one upstairs, one downstairs) are top-notch and well kept. Overall a very comfortable place to stay with up to 4 people, large enough not to get on each others nerves.
Hosts and check-in / check-out are great. You get two sets of keys. Communication was always super-fast.Bernd10/13/2018Absolutely charming!!! Beautiful property in the center of Antibes. Very, very clean. True French interior and exterior design is outstanding. Lovely territory in the garden with a garden table and chairs. The place has everything you need from towels and beach bags to every kitchen accessory you can imagine. The English lady Susan, who greeted us, was very very nice to communicate with. Tom and Paul sent me all the details in an instant plus all the information about Antibes, superior communication. 12 stars out of 10, my best recommendations.

Sergii T.9/05/2018Simply the most perfect place to live ever! So where to begin! I think its very safe to say that we all want to go back now as we had the most amazing time.
Maison du Village's description on the site was spot on. In fact it was BETTER in reality than what was written on the site, this is a first for me.
It was clean, spacious and had everything you could ever want. We all commented on the fact that this was the best equipped holiday home we had all ever been in. The space was more than enough for us all.
The support from Suzanne, Tom & Paul was really good. They seemed as if they were friends allowing you to share their home.
Beaches are great in Juan les Pins and the Beach Club in Antibes worked well too.
Simply put we want to live there all the time.
Thank you for letting us share for a bit the life you have in Antibes.
Take care and we all hope to see you again next year.j t.8/14/2018Simply the most perfect place to live ever! So where to begin! I think its very safe to say that we all want to go back now as we had the most amazing time.

Thank you for letting us share for a bit the life you have in Antibes.
Take care and we all hope to see you again next year.j t.8/14/2018Absolutely wonderful experience! Everything about this apartment was a pleasure. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the living space is charming. The kitchen was well stocked when we arrived, including a lovely bottle of wine, OJ and milk. The owners and their kind representative are easy to communicate with and very responsive. There is a guide book that the owners wrote with helpful reviews about everything in town from restaurants to local specialties. The location is in the heart of Vieux Antibes, just minutes from restaurants, boutiques, the ramparts, the beach, the Provençal market, the Picasso Museum, and yet it’s quiet and so comfortable inside. I hope we get to the opportunity to return someday.

Lisa W.7/19/2018Beautiful tranquil home only minutes from town La Maison Provençal is a beautifully appointed home. There is a generosity of spirit in the way the house is furnished. A very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and even towels for the beach.
There are views over the town, neighbourhood and garden from every room. The garden spaces are lovely, scents of jasmine and thyme float into the kitchen when the doors are open.
The house is a very easy walking distance to town. The food market there is wonderful.
Antibes has excellent train and bus links to neighbouring towns and villages so a car is not necessary.
Tom and Paul were very helpful, even providing us with a shopping cart. Essential for a visit to the markets.
We really enjoyed our two weeks here and would happily return.Nina P.6/17/2018Beautiful tranquil home only minutes from town La Maison Provençal is a beautifully appointed home. Everything far exceeded our expectations to make the trip extra memorable, from all the clever design touches to the great coffee and toiletries. Having a detailed and extensive guide was very helpful for ensuring we got the most out of our short stay, and we felt very well looked after throughout. We are already breaking our rule of never going to the same place twice and planning a return visit!
Natasha5/28/2018My husband and I stayed at this wonderful place with my Mum and her partner. It was perfect for exploring the area, in a wonderful part of old town Antibes and beautifully decorated with lots of character. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone planning a trip along the Côte d’Azur.
Tom and Paul were very helpful and provided lots of useful local info too.Emma5/16/2018An idyllic pied-a-terre for our 2 weeks in Antibes Maison Provencale truly exceeded our expectations . The house is tastefully designed and luminous thanks to its many terraces and windows . The beds were extremely comfortable and all the linens luxurious - even the beach towels! We loved taking our meals in the exquisite garden and the beautiful heated pool was a pleasure to return to at the end of an exhausting day of explorations of which there were too many.
Antibes turned out to be the most central base to visit surrounding villages (Biot, Valbonne, Mougins, St Paul de Vence) and coastal spots such as Theoule sur Mer, La Napoule, Villefranche, St Jean Cap Ferrat...The list is endless.
Tom and Paul in fact had compiled a lovely guide book showcasing the history of their town and filled with sights, activities and restaurants recommendations. Both are very proud of their homes and it shows.
We do hope we'll have an opportunity to re-visit .

Dina M D.5/12/2018Incredible location & super cosy little appartment I visited with my brother for a small escape from London.
Firstly we were absolutely dazzled by the amazing location. Set on a beautiful cobbled street, right in the heart of town. We grabbed food from the local shops + markets and I went for runs along the coast. It was amazing.
After being greeted, we settled in really quickly. Really comfy beds, plenty of L'Occitane toiletries (awesome), and everything we needed to cook up some great dinners.
Really would recommend L'Atelier. It's the perfect little apartment for escaping to the Antibes and feeling right in the heart of the action.Rufus D.5/04/2018Incredible location & super cosy little appartment I visited with my brother for a small escape from London.

The house itself was beautifully decorated with all the amenities including a Nespresso frother for those cafe lattes and ice dispenser for keeping those bottles of rose chilled! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms bright and airy. The living area is large and practical as it is located next to the dining room and I would recommend using the terrace as it is right off the kitchen. The instructions left on the counter were a useful reference guide and the Antibes guidebook with its suggestions of restaurants, sights and cafes was a wonderful personal touch by the owners. As the street is pedestrian and as such, not accessible by car, we parked in the underground parking right in front of the post office and while not the least expensive choice, it was very practical and only a minute away from the house. To note, as everything is close by and easily accessible by walking (grocery, bakery, pharmacy, etc.) the only time we did use the car was for those excursions to other sites (ie. Village of Eze).
The owners (Tom) and the property manager (Suzanne) were both quick to respond to all inquiries before and during the stay. The pictures are exactly like the house although the living room is actually larger than the picture depicts.
All in all, a lovely home that allows one to experience the village life.Cendrine R.4/24/2018Live the village life in a quiet hide away We had a wonderful stay at la Maison du Village which is true to its name: a house in the village of Antibes but on quiet pedestrian street. Maison du Bateau.
The very old home was beautifully renovated, immaculate, and amazingly spacious —in an ideal location in Antibes directly next to the Picasso museum and only several hundred feet from the Mediterranean.
Tom the owner, and Suzanne the host were quick to answers questions and and very easy communicators.
We will definitely stay here in future.Geoffrey4/14/2018I can't say enough great things about this place. From our initial contact, Tom was professional, prompt and thoughtful in communication. He stayed in touch as our trip approached and arranged for easy and flexible check-in and check-out. The property was gorgeous -- even better than the beautiful pictures suggested! We felt immediately at home. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment was very clean with lots of thoughtful touches. We hope to come back again some day!

Renting from Antibes-Rental made our stay so much more than we expected. The locate,on in the old part of town on a quiet street, was well situated for shopping, sightseeing and the beaches. Tom and Paul thoughtfully provided everything you would need in a beautifully decorated comfortable space. They also had prepared a written guide to the area with information about places to visit and restaurants recommendations with their personal insights from living in the area.
Sabina N.1/16/2018Amazing house in old Antibes I had the pleasure of staying at the house over the new year with my wife and four kids. Upon entering the house we realized that it was the finest house in Antibes. We were a party of six and there was ample room for all of us.
The interior and design of the house is world class as it is the classic style of the house. We loved every minute of it and look forward to going back soon.
The management is efficient and extremely polite.

Alexandra O.12/18/2017Beautiful apartment, super clean, well furnished and equipped with every comfort. Perfect location in the old town, just a step away from the market, shops, restaurants and parking but still very quite, located on the silent street. The place was very spacious and was exactly as described. Great owners and always ready for any need. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Tom again for everything.

Communication with the host was quick and easy and service was great (baby cot provided, good information about practicalities and the surroundings, etc.). Highly recommended!
Hanna11/13/2017Fantastic house! Highly recommended We recently stayed at this beautiful home for 10 nights with a group of friends. This house is perfect for a large family or group of friends because it is easy to find privacy even when the house is full. In addition to the convenience of beautifully designed bathrooms attached to each bedroom, there are many separate sitting/resting areas throughout the house, and the patios, decks and balconies provide similar comforts outside. The kitchens (yes plural) and the dining areas are generously equipped with every conceivable appliance, tools, gadget and elegant serving and dining ware. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained, each providing a different ambiance. This house is as comfortable as any luxury home can be expected to be, lacking none of the attention to details and amenities of a well appointed home with top-notch amenities, tasteful furniture throughout, and high-end appliances.
The house is situated on a hill with a great view of the medieval quarters of Antibes including the tower of the Chateau Grimaldi and beyond into the sea, Nice and the mountains. Antibes' medieval quarters and its famous Marché Provençal are short walk away as are its beaches. It is within a stroll to various supermarkets, wine stores, and the wonderful restaurants scattered throughout Antibes' medieval quarters.

The house was spacious and clean and superbly located for everything in Antibes and only a 10 minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended for all types of stays, from families to couples to just a romantic escape.
I also highly recommend reading and using the excellent guide provided. The restaurant recommendations are spot on as is the other useful local information about shops and walks and everything else you might need.
Thank you.Adam9/02/2017Lovely apartment in the center of Antibes, in fact it is more of a house, close to everything but in a quiet area of the Old Antibes. The host services are of high standards and make you feel very welcomed and at home. The apartment is full of charm and decorated with taste, with attention to detail. We had everything we needed for an amazing week of holiday! Well done to the hosts!
Jean-Louis8/26/2017Blissful, magical holiday at La Calado We were so, so very pleased with our stay at La Calado. The owners have thought of every single thing to make your stay a memorable one. From the amenities and top of the line appliances, cooking (All-Clad!) gear, the decor, where the light switches are located, the showers that remind you of the top spas, linens and plush towels, the pond and fountain that make a great spot to read and have coffee, everything was subjected to attentive, careful expert eyes and appreciation for beautiful things and the good life. Their generosity to share it with guests is felt throughout the villa. Being able to walk to the market every day and bring back pains au chocolat and croissants du jour to sleeping family was a pure joy. The villa offers amazing sunrise and sunset views. Because the villa is so gorgeous yet retains a home away from home feeling, you get into holiday mode straight away. The pool kept us away from the beaches though it's a quick walk down. We enjoyed the place so much that we cancelled a short trip to Monaco and a fancy Michelin restaurant to enjoy La Calado longer. We truly recommend this property and any other owned by our owners. This was the first time our family rented a villa in a Europe as opposed to 5⭐️ Hotels and we truly feel we lucked out and can't wait to be back !

Lorraine N.6/17/2017Beautiful Stylish Large Villa Our family of 9 recently spent a week at La Calado. This beautiful villa certainly has the wow factor. It is the most well equipped Villa that we have ever stayed in. It's stylishly decorated and has lots of space to accommodate large groups.
We particularly enjoyed dining outside at lunchtimes overlooking the pool and the delightful well manicured garden. The large table accommodated all of us, the outside kitchen is perfect and practical.
The owners thoughtful attention to detail is appreciated. There are many lovely touches that make your stay enjoyable and easy. The delicious cake on arrival, fridge essentials and full fruit bowl were welcoming. The beach / pool bags in every bedroom and the discreet cleaner visiting daily made you feel like you were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside Jasmine covered shower is charming and fragrant.
We found the location perfect. You can walk to Antibes old town or Juan Les Pins easily and the beach in Antibes is only a 5 minute walk. Both locations have many restaurants and shops.
Would we come back and stay in La Calado? Definitely!

UKFrank B.6/05/2017The apartment is in the perfect location, within the walled old town, walking distance to many things. It was clean and the planning was well thought out. We were greeted at the apartment by an associate of Tom and she introduced us to the apartment. There was fruit, wine, coffee, milk, cookies, and water provided for us, which prevented us from having to rush off to the grocer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tom's place , we would stay there again and will recommend it to all our friends and relatives.
Ann6/03/2017Very special Antibes is a place for investigation. To do that you have to get amongst it. The narrow winding alleys, the clustered shops ,angled paths and culinary surprises at every bend. What better place to discover these ultra vibes but to stay at the A'telier . The location superb. Design and detailing amazing with thoughtful attention to those small things, like seperate wardrobes , high end bedding , linen and bathroom cosmetics. Yes even beach towels in a Antibes style beach bag to make you feel part of it all.
The welcome instructions , amazing food , wine all there ready for you to start your stay running. I could go on but just say go there and stay here You will never forget it..

Robert and Lesley Australia /NZRobert O.5/28/2017this place is amazing! it's on such a quiet street yet about 10 seconds to the market. It has private entrance so it feels like a house rather than apartment. the view was incredible from the living room. everything you need is there including bucket & spade for children to play on the beach! You also have sun umbrella to use and beach towels which is such a help. The flat was spacious, light, beautifully decorated, cozy and smart. the mattress was amazing and the bed was high which was so nice. It's very airy and light place. The list of places to visit was spot on! we just loved it there that much that we will return again for sure. perfect for couples but also for families, ideal! Suzanne was very nice and flexible on the check-in as we changed the time at the last minute because it was so nice on the beach and she didn't mind at all, plus we had flexible check-out which is lovely when traveling with a child. Everything is walking distance so you don't even need a car to be honest. great stay! thank you!
Hugh5/10/2017Incredible Antibes Rental Property We stayed 4 nights at this property, which is wonderfully renovated while retaining the rustic old town location it deserves. Everything worked beautifully, the location is unmatched and the ease of communication and assistance with the owners and manager was fantastic. When you see the location on the map you will wrongfully assume it will be noisy because of it's proximity to great restaurants and the market. On the contrary, every night (including the weekends) was one of restful, quiet and calm sleep. The point of contact, Suzanne, was personable, flexible and had great recommendations for our stay. When we return to la Cote d'Azur we will stay in Antibes just so we can return to this property!

Jonathan C.4/25/2017Tranquil oasis in the heart of Antibes There are not enough words to describe how every one was happy. Perfect location, perfect tranquil area, walking distance to everywhere, and if we got tired of walking, we just called the driver 😉 Beautiful house, maintained with all you possibly could think of. Very good for 10 people, with loads of personal space. The little penthouse was amazing and private. We loved it so much so we basically stayed by the swimming pool 🙂 We know the area so we were just happy chilling, but if you want to look around Antibes, Cap d´Antibes or Juan Les Pins - this is a perfect spot! xxx

Marzena L.4/22/2017Quaint apartment in great location! I recently stayed at Porte L'Orme for 8 Days. It was perfect for the three of us. It had plenty of amenities (soaps, linens, Nespresso machine, very comfortable beds,...). The location was great; steps from the sea, Picasso Museum, and the Marche Provencal. Our trip started with Suzanne welcoming us and providing useful information. She was helpful whenever we needed her. It is a 10-15 minute walk to train station where you can easily go anywhere including Nice, Monaco, Ventmille (Ventmiglia, Italy) and Cannes. So much at your fingertips. Of course, you do not have to leave the old village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Tom and Paul. We will definitely look you up if/when we return!

TOM F.4/20/2017This is the Place to Stay on the French Rivera Staying at Maison du Bateau for the month of March 2017 was an absolute treat. Owners Paul & Tom have created a gem of a home for all their guests while on holiday. The web site describes exactly what awaits the visitor, so I will not repeat all the amazing amentities. From the initial booking correspondence, through to the deposit payments and security deposit refund all was smooth and efficient. Even though our flight arrived four hours earlier than anticipated, Suzanne our contact was their to greet us with all the necessary information to complete our stay.
Kudos to the interior designers, for the entire house, special mention on the master bedroom from the furnishings and the one window with a view of a wall of ivy and the other with streaming sunshine make for a room that can only be described as refined comfort. The second bedroom allowed for sitting at the window in the sunshine, which allows anyone to thoroughly enjoy reading and writing. And all other rooms in the house were equally enjoyable. And the skylights were an added joy. And the kitchen a delight for any cook.
Antibes is definitely the place to be while in the South of France, I truly understand why Paul & Tom chose this area to be their home. It is close to the bigger cities of Nice and Cannes and the Italian border is just an hour away. And while Antibes Old Town is just as popular, still gives the feeling of peace & quiet. Taking the train and local bus is within easy walking distance, five minutes to the bus and less than fifteen minutes to the train. And if you prefer to just stay in Antibes, there are many places to sit and walk and relax.
March can have fickle weather anywhere in the world, but the weather gods were on our side providing blue skies, sunshine and temperatures ranging from15-19 degrees daily except for three half days of rain.
Once again, Antibes is the place to be, in one of the homes that Tom & Paul have made available for visitors.

DebraDebra E.4/16/2017Definitely the cleanest accommodation I've stayed in. I fell in- love with this beautiful little apartment! Everything was so well thought out. I couldn't of asked for anymore. I'm really looking forward staying again. It's so much nicer than any hotel in Antibes. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Vic4/13/2017Extraordinary Villa in Antibes We spent a week a very memorable week at La Calado with our family. The villa is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the grounds are inviting and filled with flowers and herbs, and the owners and staff take such thought to make guests feel welcome (fresh flowers in the dining room, staples in the fridge, a thorough guide for guests etc.) There are two fully equipped internal kitchens, and a complete outdoor kitchen as well. The pool area is wonderful, with very comfortable lounge chairs. There are beautiful view of the Alps and the sea, and old Antibes is a short walk from the villa. This is an extraordinary home, and we look forward to another stay.

Hugh M.4/05/2017Perfect family vacation in the French Riviera When you choose a home rental online, you reasonably expect there to be details and features which may not be to your particular liking once you arrive. Perhaps ease of access to the village has been a wee bit overstated. Or the photos of the rooms give them a tad more credit than they deserve.
Not so with La Colada; in fact, the opposite proved to be true. The photos and description don’t do this exquisite villa justice. Paul and Tom have designed and decorated their warm and comfortable home to perfection, inside and out. We were so impressed with how well thought out all the choices were, intended to meet our every need. All five bedrooms are beautiful and spacious, each with their own bathroom, complete with heated floors which was wonderful in March. The heated pool had an easy to operate automatic cover, and of course pool towels were provided in each of the rooms. We didn’t use the outdoor kitchen, but the whole setup on the back terrace and around the pool was impressively done. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen – utensils, pots, dishes, two dishwashers, microwave, ice maker, coffee maker as well as espresso machine, every kind of wine and cocktail glass imaginable. The location of the house was perfect – only a 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops – and Antibes itself had so much to offer. Suzanne, Paul and Tom checked on us throughout the week, and they even provided a daily maid service!
We will definitely return to the French Riviera and to La Colada.

OUlrika N.2/11/2017Best HomeAway Experience! This is no doubt one of my best rental experiences! The place was immaculate and thoughtfully furnished. We felt like we had arrived home the moment we stepped inside. It offered everything you need from washer/dryer, to beautiful glass sets. The hosts were gracious and helpful. We even had dinner with them one night and got to know the town and its people through a local perspective. We had so much fun throughout the whole trip. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!

Becky L.1/11/2017Outstanding accommodation. This place is superb. This property is magnificently equipped and provides so many extras as well. It is luxurious and spacious and yet is next,ed into the old town in a beautiful location. 50metres away is a daily food market each morning and I think is just a few minutes more walk to bigger shops, restaurant and cafes. It is a solid 15 minute walk to the station (Gare de Antibes) which is not really possible if you have luggage. You need to use a taxi which stops nearby because it the property is on a pedestrian only street/lane way.
The communication from the owners was excellent and we were met and shown around by Suzanne who who not have been more helpful. She also saw us off at the end when we left.
This really is a lovely place to stay and the property is first class in every way.
We would certainly stay again if in Antibes.Rod M.1/10/2017Outstanding accommodation. This place is superb. This property is magnificently equipped and provides so many extras as well. The three-floor townhouse is nestled in the middle of Antibes old town, which is super convenient for shopping, restaurants and walking to the water. The house is nicely designed, with cool lights, well-equipped kitchen and big bathroom. They incorporated the original beam structure and staircase during renovation, making the place modern while retaining the old French style. Paul and Tom were very helpful and hospitable during our stay. We had a change of plan last minute and they let us stay an extra night, no problem, so we could spend the New Year's Eve in such charming French Riviera city, we really appreciated it. We highly recommend staying with Antibes-Rental.
Andrea C.1/08/2017We love the Antibes and the property, Masion du Village, that we stayed at. The furnishing and the decor were perfect and the location is right in the middle of town with plenty of very nice restaurants and bars. We liked the place so much that we decided to prolong our stay by 1 more day so we could explore more of Antibes.
Michael X.1/08/2017We had an amazing time staying at their place in Antibes. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with a beautiful modern touch and well-equipped with everything you need to feel at home. It's located at a very central part of the town, close to all the shops and restaurants. Paul and his team were very hospitable and responsive throughout the whole trip. Thank you guys for an unforgettable vacation!

Leif N.12/24/2016En fantastisk mysig vistelse!
Kajsa B.12/15/2016En fantastisk mysig vistelse! Well serviced by local shoos, but quietly hidden in a small road off the beaten track. Hardly any cars, so quiet. Well appointed with enough glasses, cutlery etc for your every need. Dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Definitely returning!

Ian R.11/22/2016Amazing property! We stayed at Maison du Village from a Wednesday-Saturday (a family of four with two kids, ages 3 and 6, and our nanny). The property was spotless, and no detail was overlooked. We especially loved the large kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was fully stocked with every thing we could possibly need to cook a meal, which we did several times. The kitchen's amenities allowed us to take advantage of Antibes' marche provencal (provencal market), and every morning we ventured over to pick amazing seasonal produce and fresh meats for our day's meal. We loved this property and would absolutely recommend this to friends and family for future visits -- that is, if we're not back ourselves! 🙂

Ann K.11/08/2016Charming house in center of Old Antibes. When my husband and I were deciding on our itinerary for a return Fall trip to Europe, we asked each other : "Where would you like to return to if this were to be our last European trip?" Without a moment's hesitation, I chose Old Antibes but was specific about wanting to rent one of the properties offered by Paul and Tom. We had stayed in " Le Bateau" 5 years ago and were so impressed with the tasteful decor, location and comfort of that 2 floors/ 2 bedroom house. This time, we chose "Porte de L'Orme," a smaller ( but still charming) one bedroom little house one block from the Picasso Museum, the famous Marche D'Antibes and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Once again , the decor, furnishings, appliances and amenities were first class. We felt like old friends returning when we were greeted once again by the outgoing, knowledgeable and helpful Suzanne. This time, we even had a small view of the Promenade and sea from our living room window! We shopped everyday at the open market for our fresh bread, croissants, fruit, fish and vegetables. We walked to each of the nearby beaches and the swimming was still warm and pleasant in late September. We also took 2 day- trips using the local bus system. This time we did not have a car rental but managed easily without the hassles of parking etc. ...one to The Bonnard Museum outside of Cannes and the other to charming town of St. Paul de Vence and the Maight Foundation Museum. Nice is also a very quick bus ride from the new Bus/Train Transportion Hub in Antibes.
We certainly hope that this was NOT our last European trip but that we will once again return to my favorite place and be able to rent one of the other Antibes-Rental properties which look equally tempting on their website! Thank you again Paul, Tom and Suzanne!Carol G.10/31/2016Charming house in center of Old Antibes.
Emmanuel10/30/2016Fabulous Vacation Rental We loved our stay at this property in Antibes. The owners are obviously travelers themselves because they have thought of everything it takes to make the weary traveler comfortable (crisp white sheets, coffee maker, blow dryer, house well stocked, etc), The apartment is clean and charming and the location is superb. I almost hate to say how wonderful it is because it may not be available next time I come to Antibes. Staying in such a well appointed and well location made Antibes our favourite city on the French Riviera. We will be back!

Julie O.10/10/2016Perfect base in Antibes The Maison Provencal was a perfect base for our stay in Antibes. The location was ideal – an easy walk to both Old Antibes and the beaches. Since we had a car, the private parking was a great asset. The house was as beautiful as it looks on the website – not a generic holiday rental, but a genuine home designed with great care. All the fittings and furniture were of the highest quality. The kitchen was completely equipped for preparing and serving wonderful meals with the ingredients we purchased at the Provencal Market. The Livingroom was tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the art on the walls. The bathrooms were both luxurious and practical. We could only dream of having such bathrooms in our New York City apartment! The bedrooms, like everything else in the house, were comfortable and attractive. There was excellent lighting throughout, as well as very effective air conditioning (which we rarely needed). The last thing anyone wants to think about on vacation is ironing, but having the iron and ironing board set up in the laundry room made even that task more pleasant. Another very special asset of the Maison Provencal was its three (!) beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. We tried to use each of them every day, but our favorite was the balcony off the penthouse suite. We spent almost every evening there watching the changing light over the city. Kudos to Tom and Paul who created this wonderful environment and who were so responsive to our every communication both before and during our stay. All their recommendations for restaurants and places to go were spot-on. Also, thanks to Suzanne, their property manager who greeted us on arrival, answered our questions during our stay, and saw us off when it was time to leave. If we return to Antibes, we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Valerie T.10/04/2016simply ideal We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at Le Calado. The house is beautifully designed, the decor is charming, modern and very tasteful and every detail has been carefully thought through...down to the linens and the lovely towels and beach bags! The pool is magnificent and the gardens are beautiful.
Le Calado is nicely situated between Antibes and Juan les Pins, providing easy walks to the old town of Antibes and the lively beaches in both areas. Truly, all of the properties owned and managed by these owners are impeccable and exceed their descriptions.
To summarize, Le Calado is simply ideal in every way.10/03/2016simply ideal We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at Le Calado. Booked very far in advance with Antibes-Rental as their properties are very popular. All communications were replied to promptly and booking process very easy. Advance detailed info was very much appreciated including restaurants in case you want to pre-book. Their recommendations were very good. This stylish two level townhome has a perfect location in the heart of the old town of Antibes and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the city. The famous Marche Provencal is just 1/2 block away and it is the best place for shopping. We did lunch in the townhouse...all fresh from the market. We did not even begin to use all the gadgets in the kitchen...it was stocked with everything you could need as was the entire townhouse. If you have mobility issues probably not your spot as bedrooms are upstairs. There is no apt. on top and it was very quiet. There are other apt that share a courtyard. They were all very respectful of each other. The townhouse does have a small table outside but it was hot and we mostly stayed inside when home. The a/c is modern and central...none of those antique units you often find in rentals. Suzanne was the greeter and very helpful in both check in and check out ...we really had no issues so did not need to contact her. I really searched to find just the right spot in Antibes and this was it. Antibes itself also is small enough (especially in the old town) to feel comfortable but so easy to visit other spots on the coast or inland. I highly recommend Antibes-Rental and this townhouse and hope to return.
kathleen d.8/04/2016Exquisite Villa for the perfect vacation Our family of ten spent nine wonderful days at La Calado in Antibes. Housing ten people is no easy feat but La Calado did it with ease and style. Each couple had their own beautiful bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. We had large living spaces to gather as an entire group, but also intimate areas for those who wanted time alone. The design aesthetic of the home is exquisite and the attention to detail is amazing. With the recommendations of our hosts, Tom and Paul, we discovered the wonderful restaurants of Antibes but, by far, our favorite dinners were held seated around the outside dining areas at La Calado. We prepared dinners in the gourmet kitchen, using fresh herbs grown in the garden and wine from the well-stocked wine cellar. The outdoor kitchen was fabulous and made our afternoons by the pool complete. We started each day with a walk to the bakery to bring home fresh baguettes and croissants for breakfast. When we weren’t eating, we walked to nearby beaches, museums and shops in old town. We rented a car and used it mainly to get to and from the airport. We were able to walk most places or use rented scooters. We took the train to Monaco, but always had La Calado to return to. It was an incredible home base to have while we explored the French Riviera. Suzanne was our local contact in case we needed anything. She met us upon our arrival at La Calado and was there to see us off on our last day. This vacation far exceeded our expectations. We have all fallen in love with Antibes and La Calado. We will surely return. Until the next time…au revoir.
Beth B.8/04/2016Perfect location, nicely appointed Perfect location in a quiet, small residential street right in the heart of the old town, a quaint little supermarket and several bakeries right around the corner, restaurants and terraces galore for “l’aperitif” only one or two blocks away, an easy walk to the Provence market and other charming destinations – we were in heaven! The welcome was great and the ground floor flat in a delightful old renovated building was a gem: an ideal couple’s retreat with all the mod cons (even one of George Cloonie’s Nespresso machines …), tastefully decorated, and all in pristine condition - we couldn’t have wished for more. Our only regret: we’d only allowed 5 days, 10 would have been twice as nice!
Anne-Marie & J-P from AustraliaAnne Marie F.8/04/2016A Riviera Oasis Our time in Antibes was so special due in large part to Paul and Tom's care for detail in thinking of everything a family could need. The house was more gorgeous and spacious than expected or that photos could do justice. We even had a delicious cake waiting for us when we arrived. The location is in the heart of Antibes where you can easily walk to get meals and get to the amazing market each day. The grocery store is just a few steps away which was fantastic. The property was clean and so comfortable with lots of extra towels and laundry facilities if needed after time at the beach. We loved exploring different restaurants each day and taking day trips by train to see other villages along the riviera. Such a special place. We will definitely be back and would only want to stay at one of Paul and Tom's properties as now we feel spoiled! Amazing in every way.

Anne-Marie & J-P from AustraliaAnne Marie F.8/04/2016The Jewel of Antibes My husband and I just came back from a stay in la Calado. It is within walking distance from the beach, old town and there are a multitude of shops, cafés and restaurants close by.
This historic villa has been tastefully restored to his former grandeur by its owners : it is well thought and beautifully furnished in a classic and modern Mediterranean style. The beddings and linens are high quality. All the amenities of the house: huge kitchen, beautiful on suite bathrooms in each bedrooms, barbeque and outdoor kitchen, gorgeous salt water swimming pool with an outdoor shower… It was even better than staying in a 5 stars hotel.

Tom and Paul were truly gracious in handling the reservation and we had excellent correspondence prior to arrival. We were greeted early in the day by their hostess Suzanne who took us through the workings of the home. They were kind enough to accommodate us earlier than the posted check in time. Suzanne toured us through the villa and explained all the technology. All the rental guidelines were completely clear. She also remained in touch through our stay to ensure all was well. She is a gem!
This home is truly spectacular. Tom and Paul have put sooooo much love into building this lovely palace. The 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are equally accommodating for all the guests. Cutlery and dishes are plentiful and carefully thought out. There is a dish for anything you can think of. Our group thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, There are multiple dishwashers and fridges which really are handy when entertaining with a group.
The exterior is also well appointed. The 3 sitting areas are awesome for all occasions and moods. The barbecue area has a fridge, dishwasher and cutlery/dishes so one does not have to hall all of this from the main house. The heated pool was such a treat. Large enough for a group of 7 along with relaxing lounging chairs.
My friends and I had such a wonderful time. We didn't want it to end. From the bottom of my heart I thank Paul and Tom for making one of my dreams come true and giving me such a beautiful memory. I would recommend this villa and these hosts to anyone. It was my first VRBO experience and its was awesome! We even received our deposit back in a timely fashion. If this is the area you would like to vacation, this is THE place to be. The location is excellent to all amenities. Perched on a hill overlooking the city, this historic villa has been recently renovated and delivers on the perfect combination of rustic local charm and modern comfort. The owners are incredibly friendly and are meticulous with the details. Gentle rain showers, wood flooring that is soft on the feet, a gorgeous swimming pool, and so many comfortable places to lounge / sit that our biggest regret was that we didn't get to try them all. Incredibly affordable for the level of comfort. This feels more like a Four Seasons or Aman than a vacation rental and we will definitely be back.

Harold S.7/21/2016Superb apartment Superb apartment situated in the centre of the 'old town ' of Antibes. The apartment was immaculately clean with everything we needed for our 12 night stay, excellent kitchen amenities, washing macine/dryer, a/c, large comfy bed with quality linen, fluffy towels & even a beach bag & beach towels⛱. Very thoughtful!! The arrival/departure procedure is handled by a very lovely lady named Suzanne & was very easy & efficient & friendly! The security deposit was also refunded promptly. The situation of the apartment was fantastic, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, beaches,, banks etc etc all within a few minutes walk. The train station is 10 mins walk & the train goes all along the coast, eg Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo so no need for a car. We would recommend highly to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world.

brett p.7/20/2016EXTRAORDINARY...A GEM OF A PLACE!!! My wife and daughter found this wonderful place online, and when I walked in I could hardly believe my eyes: not only is the house located in the best, most centrally located part of the old town of Antibes, but it's also perfectly quiet even with the windows wide open at night (which is how we like to sleep). The house itself is a work of art: tastefully and lovingly furnished and decorated, well-appointed and yes...one might even say luxurious (but in a non-ostentatious way). To put it simply: I cannot think of a better place to stay than here if you have a week or two to explore the many wonders in this corner of the world where countless amazing sights await the curious traveler within only a short walking or driving distance of this most special home. Kudos to Tom and Paul who have done a terrific job of restoring this property to its glory days!! We will hold special memories of 14 Rue du Bateau for as long as we live...

David S.7/13/2016Our Annual Holiday in Antibes This year is our fifth stay in Tom and Paul's apartments and. as always. the properties are 5 star with personal welcome and plenty of choice to cater from 2 to 10 folk. All modern facilities are integrally placed in characterful and elegant properties that certainly live up to all the promotional material.
Port de l'Orme is a particular favourite of ours as it is so close to all the beaches, marina, markets and a stroll to the station should you wish to explore the Cote d'Azure
Antibes is a magnet and once visited, you will want to keep returning.
We highly recommend the service offered by Paul, Tom and the team as beautiful well appointed apartments in stunning surroundings is the anchor to a memorable and relaxing holiday.

Geoff and Teresa Mitchellgeoffrey mitchell6/22/2016Review of apartment at No. 38, Rue Paul Bourgarel. Although compact, the style and location of the apartment at No. 38, Rue Paul Bourgarel was top notch. So good that we are booking it again for next year. All of the appliances are in excellent condition and all worked properly. The huge King size bed was extremely comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe and other storage space. The style of the apartment was very trendy 'warehouse' with rustic doors made of roughly sawn wood and the like. All in all, different, but delightful. We give it 5 out of 5 !!!

John and Patricia WhelanJohn W.6/07/2016Spectacular The villa is simply spectacular. You wake up and look out over the old town toward the Alps and the sea. Beautifully restored and modernized. Our reaction when arriving was "we'll never leave this villa" and while we eventually did (the old town of Antibes is just a short walk) we can imagine returning to this villa and spending the entire time on the property. The heated swimming pool is just one of the many aspects of the place that lures you to stay at home. Wonderful for large groups as the house is so large with a variety of bedrooms and living rooms you can always find a quiet place or a place large enough for all your friends and family. We were there in May when the weather grew more gorgeous each day, but even if there had been a rainy day, the villa would have been a wonderful place to curl up and enjoy cooking meals in the huge kitchen, watching Apple TV, or just watching the weather over the town.
Wonderful experience and we will most definitely return.Jeffrey R.6/01/2016You Can Have It All - Comfort, Style, Location We stayed at Paul and Tom’s beautiful Porte de L’Orme vacation rental for two weeks in March. We completely agree with all the previous positive reviews of what and why an amazing place this is. Everything is perfect and to a very high standard - the apartment itself with its beautiful furnishings, high-end kitchen and bath amenities, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, and the location (one-half block to the Med – including a glimpse of the Sea, one-half block to the Picasso Museum, one-half block to the daily fruit and vegetable market, a short stroll to everything in the old town.) We couldn’t have been more pleased. Paul and Tom have several vacation rentals in Antibes. All have been created with their guests’ comfort in mind. The reservation process is easy and thorough. We do not hesitate to recommend Porte de L’Orme or any of their properties if you are seeking a memorable place to stay in wonderful Antibes

Sara, Jamie & Noi R.5/11/2016Tranquil apartment in heart of Antibes Wonderful apartment in the heart of Antibes, exactly as you see in the pictures.
Great communication with owners and Suzanne their agent in Antibes.
My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 1 week and which had everything we needed.
No need to pack toiletries or beach towels... or even a beach bag as this apartment has it all and more.
Super comfortable bed and soft bedding with over-sized cushions gives the bedroom a truly luxurious feel.
We have already recommended the apartment to other friends who love Antibes and will definitely be back!
Thanks for making our 'babymoon' as truly relaxing getaway!Candace S.5/03/2016Fantastic stay, great location! Great location in Old Antibes, steps from the beach and the local market. We were greeted by Suzanne who took us through the well-appointed, spotless apartment when we arrived. The apartment was so cozy, yet totally updated with all the modern amenities including a washer/dryer combo that we used (A rare find in Europe!) during our stay. Tom and Paul left a wonderfully informative letter with all the info one would need as well as a nice welcome basket of goodies. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage with baskets for all your little items, a nice touch. The bathroom had nice plush towels and high end soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen was well appointed with everything one could need, even a sewing kit! We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and the attention to detail. Nothing was missed! Thank you for a wonderful stay, our favorite stop off on our journey in this very special town!

Neal W.4/27/2016tremendously cosy and well appointed house We spent some splendid days at the Maison du Village with our 3 year daugther. The house not only has a great charm, but it is also extremely well located (10 minutes walk to the beach, the provencal market, slowly walking with a small kid, 2 minutes to supermarkets and bakeries), super clean and fitted with everything we have in our own home. We travel a lot and this house has the best beds we have ever encountered in our trips. The owners provided a lovely baby bed for our daughter and left lovely attentions for us in the fridge. There is a spacious sunny terrace giving on the street, where we spent a lot of time in the evening. The description and photos are fully accurate and we will certainly return to this house for longer holidays!
Bianca B.4/26/2016Best place to stay in Antibes Had a wonderful stay in Paul and Toms apartment! This was my email to them:
"Hi Paul and Tom,
Firstly I would like to thank you, I had a wonderful stay in your apartment. I make use of homeaway often and its been one of the best apartments Ive stayed in. It is not just the fact that the apartment has everything you need; fast internet, good location, decent bedding and towels and so forth but that Suzanne stocked it with the basics: coffee, milk, tea, fruit, rose, etc. Arriving late after a long train trip this was really appreciated.
I honestly have no suggestions, it was perfect. Thank you again. Ill definitely be back and would refer any of my friends looking for a place to stay in antibes.
Please thank Suzanne for me again. "Andreas S.1/29/2016Superb We recently stayed at Maison du Bateau, friends had recommended a holiday in Antibes and also Antibes Rental. We were not disappointed. The location of Maison du Bateau provided easy access to the farmers market and many wonderful restaurants. It was a easy walk to the railway station making it easy to travel to other tourist spots. We loved the experience of staying in the old village.
The accommodation was excellent, the owners have thought of everything. We loved the place as soon as we walked inside, the property is both stylish and beautify appointed and with its superb location we felt at home immediately. We will have no hesitation in recommending this property to any of our friends or family. We look forward to staying there again.
Pam and Jørn, Sydney AustraliaJorn J.1/26/2016Exquisitely superb and terrifically satisfying. Maison du Village is a special property. First, the location is incredibly convenient and pleasant. It is tucked away on a private, quiet residential street, and yet it is in the middle of everything that is special about the old town of Antibes; and only a few steps from markets, stores, restaurants, and the central square of the Old City for the purchase of anything from a quart of milk to an electrical adaptor for your computer. It makes you feel more like a permanent resident instead of vacationing guest. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, the owners have done a beautiful job with the rennovations, furnishings, and appointments to the townhouse itself resulting in an extremely comfortable and pleasant interior environment. It is a great place to just hang out. As an added plus, the owner’s attention to customer service when first greeting you, and responding to your needs during your visit, makes everything easy and hassle free. We stayed with them last spring and had an equally satisfying stay at their Cote Safranier property also located in the old town; and we will be returning on our next vacation to stay at their nearby Maison du Bateau which is just a block off the Mediterranean.

Sanford G.1/22/2016Amazing home that is very well designed, well set Our family of four stayed at both Maison Bateau and Maison du Village of Antibes Rental in old Antibes for two weeks as part of a family trip to discover France. We ended our trip in old Antibes and we are so happy we did. Not only is old Antibes a beautiful village, but both of the homes we stayed at were absolutely a joy to call home away from home for many reasons. We have travelled many places around the world and we have stayed in many homes and Maison du Village is at the top of our list because each home had the perfect combination of not only being so well located in old Antibes to amenities and sights, but also being very well designed and very comfortable in its layout and setup for our family. We truly relaxed at these homes because we felt so comfortable. Each of the homes were so well set up functionally as well as being well stocked with every imaginable kitchen appliance/gadget one would need to make a gourmet meal. We got a sense that the owners really love to cook! The owners Tom and Paul have done an amazing job in the decor and design of each of the homes we stayed at with great attention to detail. The L'Occitane products were such a nice touch as well as the delicious welcome basket in each home. The design and functionality of each home struck a perfect balance. We loved that each home was well located in old Antibes and a perfect walking distance to all amenities in the village (especially when you have young ones who cannot walk too far). We also loved that each of the homes were very well set up with almost everything you could think of to make our family feel very much at home. The natural light in Maison du Village and the sunshine on the patio each day was a highlight for our family each day. Preparing meals in that amazing kitchen was such a joy with all that natural light. The bathroom in Maison du Village was luxurious, especially after a long day of sightseeing and travels. Another highlight for us was the gracious and friendly host Suzanne who greeted us at each place and helped us get oriented to each of the homes. She was a wealth of information on old Antibes as well as the very informative info sheets which Tom and Paul left at each home. As a family with young kids, we really appreciated this information from healthy & safety to restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Our only regret is that we did not book an extra week at Maison du Village. We loved it so much and hope to be back one day!

raymond b.11/18/2015A Little Slice of Heaven Maison du Bateau is simply ideal in every way for a stay in Antibes. The apartment exceeds ones expectations in its location, cleanliness, aesthetics, and charm. The owners have great talent in decorating, use of fine linens, tasteful toiletries, etc. Dishes, serving pieces, wine glasses, flatware and every kitchen device imaginable are thoughtfully selected.
One could not ask for a better location. The old sea wall and the med are steps away in one direction, while the ancient Provencal Marche await in the opposite direction. The street is quiet and full of personality at the same time.
Maison du Bateau is simply a true gem.10/21/2015Outstanding The location of this apartment is perfect - on a peaceful, beautiful and rustic cobbled street, yet only 5 minute walk to the beaches and around the corner from lots of restaurants and bars. Choopy's (cupcake shop on the corner by the apartment) does an excellent breakfast and has lots of gluten free options - pancakes, cakes, sandwiches etc. Carrefour supermarket just round the corner and very convenient.
The apartment itself is of a very high quality (air conditioning much needed after a day at the beach!) and my partner and I really appreciated the small touches that make this place so special - beach towels and parasol, well stocked kitchen, quality of appliances.
Suzanne, the property manager, is delightful and made us feel very welcome. The excellent wifi meant we could email her with any questions and she was always quick to respond and very helpful.
Overall, I cannot recommend this apartment enough! If I am in Antibes again I shall definitely stay here.8/05/2015Five stars; comfortable, classy & well equipped! What a superb property which lived up to all of the stellar previous reviews that other visitors had kindly provided. The location is excellent; peaceful and quaint with 50 meters in one direction to the sea and in the other direction to the Marche Provencal. Super well equipped; the best that we have ever stayed at. The furnishings are tastefully classy and the place was super comfortable. The courtyard was a welcome haven to benefit from the good weather, and I love shutters so those were an added benefit (so French!). Suzanne was a super host and the owners have a true gem on their hands. Five stars all around!
Timothy S.6/17/2015Fantastic getaway apartment! This apartment is exactly as pictured, if not better! it is a wonderful quiet, cozy and romantic space that is very suitable for a couple. The owners attention to EVERY detail make you truly feel like a very valued customer. The location cannot be beat if you are looking to explore Antibes by foot and get a true feeling of vacationing in the French Riviera!
It was very clean, well maintained, the bed is extremely comfortable, shower works well, kitchen is well supplied and the a/c is a great treat. Awsome variations of lighting for all sorts of moods.
Our service and responses from owners and management were always prompt, polite and respectful. We had one small issue with a slow shower drain which was tended too almost instantly by the property manager Suzanne.
Overall we would return in a heartbeat and would absolutely recommend to any friend or family.rebecca m.6/17/2015Fabulous Maison du Bateau Maison du Bateau is superb and more spacious than it appears online. It is beautifully maintained and contains everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It's excellent location in the old town means that you are close to many fantastic restaurants, the wonderful market and coastal walks. The owners and their manager Suzanne could not have been more helpful, and we shall certainly be returning. We recommend Maison du Bateau without reservation.

Denise P.6/13/2015Superb! Our second stay in this property and once again just a delightful experience from start to finish.
The owners Paul and Tom and manager Suzanne set an incredibly high standard that is quite frankly 'benchmark'. They understand the importance of attention to detail and continuous improvement and the result is a perfect stay in Maison du Bateau or any of their several properties.
Best reccomendation? We will be back!Deb P.5/07/2015Lovely apartment. This small apartment was small, but clean and well appointed; handy to the Picasso Museum, the shore and the market, yet peaceful. Our greeter was friendly and welcoming. The price was reasonable for what we needed. Our first meal, at Le Comptour, a gastropub just around the corner, was excellent. Our last, at LeVauban, was elegant and delicious, though a bit pricey. Le Petit Train got us to JLP for daytime excursions. Excellent choice for 3 or fewer people!
Dale M.5/07/2015Elegant simplicity in old Antipolis! Wow! This is how to live like a local in the heart of the old town just meters away from the sea and from the local outdoor market and a short stroll to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay at "Porte de l'Orme". The location is incredible and the apartment itself has been renovated with a fresh and elegant simplicity which preserves much of the local character and the charm of the original house. The kitchen is large and well equipped to do some serious cooking - perhaps of some of the fantastic fish being sold down the road! Top marks for style and for being a nice and clean apartment. Very friendly and helpful welcome and a great little welcome tray of goodies in the kitchen and very nice soaps etc in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend this highly!

Patrick S.2/28/2015A Wonderful Place to Stay in Charming Antibes We had a great 10 days at Porte de L'Orme. It was the perfect spot to use as a base for our vacation. The apartment has a fabulous location within the old ramparts of Antibes: literally only steps from the Mediterranean, the Musée Picasso, and the Marché Provençal on a small, quaint, cobblestone street for pedestrians. Couldn't be better!
The apartment is perfect for 2 people (although there is a small second bedroom). We were greeted by Suzanne who gave us useful information and details about the apartment. We appreciated and enjoyed the treats in the welcome basket.
We had a car during our vacation, although you can easily see the area without a car. We parked in the brand new city parking garage--Pré-aux Pecheurs at the Port Vauban harbor. It was the most well-designed parking garage we have ever seen...very unlike most small French garages. Sorry to rave about a parking garage, but this one was exceptional.
It was wonderful to be able to go out each morning and get fresh croissants to go along with the coffee we made in the apartment's Nespresso machine. While there are many good restaurants nearby, which we enjoyed, we also liked eating "in."
We visited in November and the weather was (mostly) beautiful, but cool. We can only imagine what the warmer months must be like. The market was not at its best and some of the businesses were closed. During the warmer months it would be nice to have some outdoor space or a balcony, which this apartment does not have. (Just something to keep in mind.)
This apartment was everything it was advertised to be. Neat, clean, and nicely-furnished. Merci Paul and Tom for making our booking easy and professional. We highly recommend Porte de L'Orme if you are looking for a "home" in Antibes.
Jim & Marilyn,
Sonoma CaliforniaMarilyn H.1/18/2015A lovely and memorable stay! ~ We had the most amazing time on our visit and week stay in Antibes and at apartment Porte de L'Orme. The apartment was beautifully decorated with all the amenities one could want or need. The location was perfect right in the heart of the old town with the Ocean and views just steps away and The outside market filled with every goodie imagined almost right outside our front door. We also found many marvelous culinary restaurants, bistros and cafes one could ever want or ask for to dazzle all our senses all within a short hop, skip and jump some a little farther when in the mood for a midnight stroll. The owners were more then accommodating with information on Antibes and always kept us updated. Just a wonderful renting experience and mind blowing location! We left very relaxed and sad we couldn't extend our vacation another week. There is always next time. We would and have recommended this apartment to and for anyone looking for an escape from the normal day to day grind. Warning be prepared not to be disappointed, it was a lovely stay. Thanks Antibes and Thank you Porte de L'Orme! Cheers- Amie and Alex
Amie T.11/03/2014Charming, Modern, Comfortable home away from home! L'atelier is the place you want to stay at if you are visiting Antibes and its surrounding areas. It all started with a very warm welcome after a long journey from NYC: We arrived to 1) a very pleasant greeter to show us everything about the apartment, 2) a very thoughtful welcome basket, and 3) a nice bottle of rose which was exactly what we were looking forward to after arriving to France. The apartment is well designed and the perfect size for 2 travelers. It's clean and has everything you could possibly need, including the following items which we used during our stay, 1) an iron, 2) an umbrella, and 3) washer/dryer. The location is absolutely perfect and convenient to everything. It's close to the beach, a park, tons of great restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, and grocery stores. There's a very convenient parking garage literally steps away. You literally feel like it's a combination of a 5 star hotel and a very comfortable home. We really enjoyed our stay! Stay at L'atelier!
Christopher L.10/19/2014Fantastic Apartment A lovely property in the perfect location for enjoying the medieval part of Antibes. Apartment is next to a pedestrian walkway with great shops, cafes, restaurants and bakeries. Everything within a short distance. In addition, very close to the daily outdoor market which was great for fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meats and gifts. A short walking distance to the Picasso museum and beaches.
The apartment was even better than the pictures. Very clean and upscale with wonderful linens and towels. Had everything we needed including beach towels and a bag. The full size washer and dryer were very welcome. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher. Décor was definitely upscale and done with an eye toward making the apartment light and airy.
The support provided by the owners was excellent. Before we arrived, they sent a very detailed intro including directions, parking areas, restaurants, entertainment, museums and beaches, sites of interest, etc. Felt like we knew the area before even getting there. Also left a copy for us in the wonderful welcome basket with fruit, wine, coffee, tea and snacks. Great way to settle in after traveling.
Many little touches that added to the ambience including Krups coffee machine, shampoo, French milled soaps, and even laundry and dish detergent.
Property manager met us promptly at the designated time. She gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment and great ideas for shopping, dining, and sight seeing. She was only a phone call away for questions not only about the apartment but the area. Felt we had our own tour service available.
We highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay on our next trip to Antibes.Nancy S.10/15/2014Amazing home from home Myself & Tim had such a lovely time the house was fantastic, Suzanne made us so welcome when we arrived, nice bottle of wine in the fridge.
The house was so clean perfect place to stay 5 stars does not seem enough going back next year. lovely & quiet the market is amazing. some lovely cheese shops, anyone wanting a quality house for a holiday this is the place to go. looking forward to seeing Suzanne again such a lovely lady.tim h.10/01/2014Perfect location with comforts of home L'atelier is completely as advertised. The location, in the old town, was ideal for going to the markets and shops. The property is on a very quiet pedestrian street but is just steps from many small shops, and the amazing Marche´ Provençal, that are geared to the local economy as well as the tourists.
The apartment is on the ground floor which makes it very convenient, especially with luggage. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has lots of storage. The bedroom includes a king size bed which is very comfortable. The bathroom is small but the walk-in shower is spacious and the decor is very elegant, with Moroccan tile. There are plenty of electrical outlets, and a plug adapter is included in case you forget to pack one! We were greeted at the agreed-
upon time with the property manager who briefed us on the various appliances and the air conditioner (which worked perfectly, and quietly). The clothes washer and drier were an added plus. There was a bowl of fruit, a bottle of wine, and biscuits as well as a bottle of milk and orange juice.
I can't overstate the convenience of the location. Antibes itself is a small city and very walkable and the apartment is perfectly situated. There are many restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed shopping for local food and preparing meals ourselves.
I would definitely consider returning, but for 2 weeks rather than 1 - there is so much to see and do in the area!Mark9/19/2014Stunning apartment, beautifully presented. A beautifully presented home in the heart of Antibes. Close to all that Antibes has to offer, (beach, restaurants, bars, shops, museum) but tucked down a quiet little residential, pedestrianised street. We had a fabulous week here, pottering about the town, stocking up on provisions from the Provençal Market and spending long days at the beach. NEVER before have we enjoyed our accommodation so much that we have chosen to stay in three nights out of seven!!! The apartment is well equipped with good quality cooking utensils and a good selection of DVD's to keep you entertained and relaxed. It really was a home from home for all the right reasons. When we did venture out at night we found an abundance of good restaurants and a welcoming relaxed atmosphere. The residents are quite rightly proud of this beautiful part of France and we found that people could not do enough for us. We had a brilliantly relaxing and memorable time and hope to return very soon. Thank you!
Melanie T.9/16/2014A gorgeous holiday in a wonderful house! Our whole experience has been superb from booking through to departure. We have been so impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Tom and Paul, in their correspondence and the information they provide. The Maison du Bateau was perfect - everything we needed, lovely decor, immaculately cleaned plus the thoughtful extras in the welcome pack. A friendly and informative welcome from Suzanne as well.
Maison du Bateau lived up to it's description and with it's location within Old Antibes it was a perfect place to stay. We agree completely with the many other positive reviews and would very happily return for another stay.

8/31/2014Perfect! This was the perfect house in the perfect location for the perfect holiday in the sun. The house is immaculately clean with great decor (all the modern conveniences you could need) in the beautiful old town Antibes. Minutes from the beach, markets, amazing ice cream shop, restaurants and all important boulangerie (amazing fresh bread and patisseries).
The house itself had everything we needed for the week including a nice chilled bottle of rose to open on our arrival. The weather was wonderful so we spent most of our time in the little court yard next to the house (breakfast, lunch and the occasional dinner). The house was easy to get to and Suzanne who met us with the keys was welcoming and made arrival and departure a breeze.
This place is amazing value for money and i cant recommend it highly enough. If we are ever back in Antibes we will definitely want to stay here again. It was PERFECT!Brenton S.8/24/2014Perfect base for enjoying Antibes Great location in the centre of the old town, beautifully appointed apartment with great ambience and thoughtfully designed. We were impressed with how well the apartment was laid out with everything we needed and easy to use. Nice touches like plenty of power points in handy locations (for charging all the electronics), nice welcome basket, good lighting and air-conditioning (nice to come home to after a hot day out exploring or at the beach). Also very helpful was their personal Antibes guide in the welcome letter (and more on the website), with good recommendations on restaurants and local facilities. We tried out 3 of their restaurant recommendations and all were superb. Happy to recommend to friends and fellow travellers.
John J.8/06/2014Best family vacation ever! My wife, our 8 year-old son, and I just LOVED this charming, spacious, and meticulously cared for apartment in old town Antibes. The place is so tastefully designed and is fully equipped with all the appliances, amenities and comforts that our family could ever want or need on vacation. It’s Old World charm meets 21st Century conveniences!
The location of Maison du Bateau is unbeatable. Every morning, we’d take a short walk down some stone steps to shop for fresh fruit, eggs, and cheeses from the farmers market, then to the nearby bakery for warm baguettes and pastries (don’t miss the pain aux raisins!). There’s also a great little wine shop near the market where we procured some excellent Provençal rosès, which we enjoyed out on the apartment's lovely patio. My wife found a little shop that made delicious fois gras and mango chutney sandwiches, and our son could not get enough at the creperie or the incredible organic gelato shop– all of which is within easy walking distance of Maison du Bateau.

They provided information about the location as well as what to expect in the home, a referral for transportation from the airport and enthusiasm through & through. The home was meticulously decorated and cared for and offered ALL of the amenities. Including air conditioning, which was SUCH a great relief after a day at the beach. We really appreciated the split bedrooms (one on the 3rd floor, 2 on the 1st floor, which really allowed our joint parties privacy. I really cannot say enough good about the home and our visit to Antibes. I would highly recommend to a friend (in fact I have already!) and will certainly plan to stay again.

kacey l.7/16/2014Beautifully French and an Amazing Location We were so impressed with Maison du Bateau. Not only have the owners thought of everything and included items at the property that really do at that finishing touch to your holiday, the care and attention you are given whilst we were there was amazing. We also loved the proximity to the Market in Antibes which afforded us the opportunity to eat beautiful fresh food every day, and the beach was a 5 minute walk away. Wholeheartedly recommend this house - I can only wish that it was my own home!
Erin J.7/02/2014Amazing house on pedestrian street in old town!! What an awesome spot! The house is very well furnished - kitchen is super equipped with everything you can ask for. Great quality linens and finishing touches - lots of great antiques mixed with modern amenities and fresh design. Spotless! We stayed for a week with our two young girls and it was the perfect location to walk to everything! We only took our car out once to visit Monaco for the day - otherwise, we walked to the beaches, the market (literally down the stairs), restaurants - it's all right there. So many beautiful pedestrian streets and shops - we enjoyed evening walks with the girls and explored a different area every night. The "secret" rooftop at the Picasso Museum down the way surprised us with magnificent views. Morning espressos in the garden were a highlight. Correspondence with the owner Tom were always answered immediately, and we were 110% impressed with everything! Thank you for a wonderful week! We would return and recommend to our family and friends (in fact, we already have!)

Dozens of wonderful cafes and shops within seconds of the front door yet private down a side street. Fresh fruit and a bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived. You will become addicted to that coffee machine.

David G.6/07/2014Wonderful apartment in Antibes. This apartment has been beautifully renovated. We had three couples in our group, and it was perfect for us. There are three very comfortable bedrooms, with bathrooms, and the kitchen, dining, and living room areas are very nicely done with everything you need for cooking and enjoying the ambience of the apartment. There is a lovely balcony with flowers and a table and chairs for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.
The property is very clean and beautifully maintained. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning in each room and a washer and dryer.
The location is very close to the town square with restaurants and shops, and it is also very close to the market for a great selection of local foods.
The owners, Tom and Paul, sent a very helpful list of restaurants and activities in the Antibes area. We were greeted by Suzanne, a lovely hostess, who answered any questions we had, and made us feel at home.
We highly recommend this location.Michael P.5/28/2014Perfect house, perfect location After reading all the reviews on this exceptional house , with such attention to detail we were prepared for great things, however this house exceeded our expectations . Beautifully decorated , very we'll stocked kitchen both in terms of food and wine (opened immediately in our case ) and utensils. The beach bags and towels in each room were appreciated. The book shelves had plenty of beautiful French reference books , cookery books, up to date travel guides and the most hilarious old French / English phrase book. We cried with laughter when reading it, and could not believe the phrases they were translating , it kept us entertained for quite a while.
Apart from being a great house, with a lovely sunny terrace ( hard to believe in such narrow streets ) it is a perfect quiet location, 1 minute walk to patisserie for breakfast , 1 minute walk to wide choice shops and of restaurants (our favourite was Le
Le Taille de Guepe next street up ) 5 minute walk to beach . Main supermarket is less than 5 minute walk , we used our suitcases on wheels to transport all the wine back . We also made good use of the local buses and trains to and from airport , to the cap and to Saint Paul de Vence.
Great house , great place .Alison W.5/20/2014What an absolutely fantastic experience! We had a wonderful experience with this townhouse! So beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all the comforts of home. It is even more beautiful than the website depicts. Immaculate and roomy. Is in the perfect location, within easy walking distance to great shops, restaurants, and the sea! A true gem. I have gushed to all family and friends about it and highly recommend that they treat themselves to this magnificent townhouse in the gorgeous town of Vieil Antibes!
Susan N.4/26/2014Maison du Village...Fantastic We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison du Village, a beautifully decorated, warm and homely property. Everything we could have needed was available in the house, great attention to detail, with a few essentials to welcome us including a bottle of wine! Totally unexpected, these little touches certainly added to our experience. Perfectly located in Antibes and to top it off we had glorious weather during the whole of our stay. A perfect mini break.
Jo D.3/29/2014I visited Maison du Village in June of 2013 and found both the location and the home to be immaculate and beautiful. It was my first time anywhere in the south of France, and I think I'm completely spoiled now that I've spent time in Antibes. The highlights for me were the Provencal Farmers Market and the beach by Juan-les-Pins.
Jack W.3/09/2014Beautiful, Large Property with Every Amenity We stayed at the Maison Du Village for almost five weeks this winter, and can't say enough good things about our experience. Tom and Paul, the owners, have done a remarkable job creating a modern yet extremely comfortable place to spend your holiday. From the generously equipped kitchen to the unexpectedly large and luxurious bathrooms, everything about our stay surpassed our expectations. Because the owners are local and so attentive, questions or concerns we had were always resolved immediately. They even referred us to a language tutor and a babysitter, both of whom were wonderful. The location is also fantastic.
Josh B.2/28/2014A delightful month at Maison du Bateau We fell in love with Maison du Bateau the minute we walked through the door. Tom and Paul have maintained the charm of a centuries old home without sacrificing any modern comforts. We love to cook and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to take full advantage of the magnificent market only half a block away. When we decided not to cook, the restaurant recommendations found in Tom and Paul’s very complete “house manual” were wonderful. From pizza to fine dining, we were never disappointed. The house is very well appointed and tastefully decorated, but most importantly, the bed’s and linens are luxurious. We were proud to entertain close friends who joined us for a week.
The location of the house is among the best in Antibes. It is a half a block off the seawall and any easy walk to any part of the old town. We chose not to rent a car. It was great not to worry about driving after enjoying an extra glass of wine when dining out. Making day trips up and down the coast (travelling as far as Italy) was easy on the great train and bus systems.
My wife and I have rented homes all over Europe and North America and our month at Maison du Bateau ranks among our very best experiences.
Dave and Deb Pearson - Calgary, Alberta2/16/2014If You Sell…We Want To Buy It !! We fell in love with Maison du Bateau…. and how could you not with its perfect location and historic character but with all the modern amenities you could possibly need. Suzanne reviewed everything with a smile, an eagerness to please, and an informative list of possibilities. The house was tastefully decorated, a welcome basket, fresh flowers, toiletries, and wi-fi was a plus. Next door is the Picasso Museum, a must…the daily open market a few hundred feet away, Old town Antibes with it's winding cobblestone streets, boutique shops and restaurants with Christmas decorations and festivities…we felt at home….So if Tom and Paul are ready to sell, we're very interested!
Rosemarie S.1/03/2014Impeccable Property! Beautifully appointed, clean, incredibly comfortable and welcoming property. My family and I stayed in this lovely home for one week in August and enjoyed everything about it. The home is tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities and yet retains the charm of a village home in the center of old Antibes. The bedrooms were peaceful, clean and unbelievably comfortable. We have many fond memories of relaxing together in the main areas of the house reading, watching tv, or just chatting about our adventures. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for and more. We enjoyed lovely meals on the terrace overlooking the scenic town. It was simply perfect. And the property manager was delightful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I can't say enough about this fantastic home located in the village with easy access to several beaches and other charming towns.
Melinda H.1/01/2014This place is absolutely amazing! There are not words to describe how amazing this place is! 5 stars are not enough! The manager Suzanne, as well as Tom and Paul thought of everything to make sure our vacation was perfect! We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to all our friends and family!
Diane M.11/30/2013The perfect holiday flat We can only echo the wonderful reviews of Maison du Village – they are spot on! We spent a glorious week in this wonderful flat. As others have mentioned, the photographs are accurate, although they cannot capture the serenity of the property. The owners have considered every detail – from the comfortable beds with quality linens, to the luxurious toiletries, and to the lovely, well-equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful time shopping at the local market – every kind of cheese, sausage, spice, fruit and veg you could want – and then enjoying them on the terrace with a lovely glass (or two) of local wine. The flat’s layout on three levels afforded everyone as much privacy as desired. It is right in the middle of Vieil Antibes, and it is a great base from which to explore all parts of the old town as well the surrounding cities and villages. The local bus station is right up the street, and the train station is a short walk away. We hope to return, and we definitely recommend this flat to friends or families who want a comfortable home base in beautiful Antibes.
Patricia L.11/30/2013A wonderful stay in a truly charming home. We had a fantastic holiday in Les Antibes during the summer and the holiday was made even more special by staying at La Maison du Village. You can instantly tell as soon as you step into this impressive house (which I could easily call my home!) that it has been designed with love and attention to detail. Every room in this house exudes effortless charm, comfort and character. The stunning, fully functional open plan kitchen with its long terrace outside was my favourite room. The almost floor to ceiling height double doors allows the room to be bathed in sunlight and is a perfect setting to while away your time having long breakfasts or late night dinners accompanied by a beautiful glass of the local rose wine. Each bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom has its own colour scheme and every where you look, you will notice some unique detail or special feature. Every room contains up-to-date appliances, ipod docks and super fast Wi-Fi so you can access the outside world if you absolutely need to... although I would urge you all to switch your phones and ipads off and just relax on the comfortable couch with your friends or your loved one. Other things: property was immaculately clean and very well looked after and is suitable for all ages! The house is conveniently located near the centre of the village and everywhere is within walking distance, from the fantastic French restaurants down the road to the beach just a stone's throw away. La Maison du Village must in my view be the place to stay! I would certainly recommend the property to families or friends who simply want to get away from the city for some R and R time. I will most definitely be coming back to stay at La Maison du Village! Charmante!
11/03/2013Wonderful apartment We had a wonderful stay at Maison du Bateau. The apartment is very well designed and appointed. To a much greater extent than we've seen with other rental apartments, the level of service is much higher (including, notably, through Suzanne), as is the quality of the furnishings, not to mention the nice extras such as toiletries and some basic groceries. The location, literally down the block from the Picasso Museum in one direction, and around to the corner from one of the region's better farmers' markets in the other (making the spacious and well-equipped kitchen that much more relevant), and on a very quiet pedestrians-only street, cannot be beat.
10/21/2013A quiet, quality retreat in the Riviera buzz We, a family of four, stayed in the excellent property in July 2013. The house is indeed as good as shown on the pictures, perhaps even better! All rooms are practically organized, and roomy enough to provide a private area if travelling as a larger group. Even in the hot month of July, the AC had no problems in keep the interior cool. The location is a quiet residential street without any nightly disturbances from restaurants. Still, you only need to go around the corner for 20-30 meters to be in the midst of the main shopping area.
Due to some special dietary requirements in the family, we cook most of our food. The kitchen is very well equipped, so we could prepare anything desirable. There is a good supply of groceries at the butcher around the corner, who obviously also has a decent selection of quality meat. The closest supermarket is some blocks away (close to the central bus station), but still within walking distance. We also appreciated an organic/specialty food store with a wide selection, located just outside the nearby parking garage.Olaf B.9/03/2013Fantastic apartment in Old Antibes Excellent location, beautiful updated apartment with all amenities. Excellent location for walking to the Provencal market and shops in old town, beach & 10 minutes to the train - we didn't need our car at all.
Super cold air conditioning and a strong WIFI signal too, Nice TV with good selection of DVDs Washer/Dryer was a real plus since we had been travelling for 2 weeks prior to our arrival.. Loved the Nepressso machine. Quiet too.
Truly a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend this place.Maike G.7/31/2013Just what we were looking for! Wonderful place to stay! Our family of four had a very relaxed and comfortable stay at Mason du Bateau. The owners and manager were very helpful. This townhouse had everything you need to enjoy your stay and made you feel right at home. They've thought of everything. It is centrally located for driving and convenient to the train. Right in the center of a lot of action but off the busy streets so it's a quiet sanctuary after a busy day of sight seeing. Would recommend highly.
6/26/2013La Dolce Vita on the Cote D'Azur A group of friends and I stayed at Maison du Village in May and had a wonderful time. The house itself is lovely: airy, beautifully furnished and immaculate (the pictures are very accurate). The clever layout provides a central place for everyone to congregate in the living area / kitchen but the placement of the bedrooms provides privacy and quiet. The owners have really thought about everything: the kitchen is fully equipped (including a large gas grill on the balcony), the lovely bathrooms with their Moroccan tiles are stocked with high-end toiletries, we slept soundly every night on the very comfortable beds. It’s just steps down the narrow, winding streets of Vieil Antibes to the open air market where we would buy fruits, bread and cheese. Every morning, we enjoyed our breakfast with the French doors wide open letting in the sunlight and the breeze and the balcony is ideal for a glass of rose at sunset before heading out to dinner. After long and busy days discovering the surrounding area, we were always happy to open the door and be “home”. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to others who are looking for an ideal base for exploring Antibes and the Cote D’Azur.
6/12/2013A thoughtful, beautiful experience This was my first time to Antibes. The space was everything that was advertised and more! The renovation was fantastic with an attention to detail that respected the history of the house, but accommodated for every modern need from the latest appliances to wireless internet connection. Everything was clean, tidy and well organized. The beds were comfortable with high end bedding. The bathrooms were well appointed with the option of a soaking tub or a rain shower, and the amenities were a really nice extra touch. The location on a quiet, central residential street could not have been more perfect with close proximity of the market and wonderful shops just steps away. Both Cannes and Nice are very close for day trips. We went on 2 fantastic hikes around Cap Ferrat and Cap de Antibes. Gorgeous weather and the bluest water we have ever seen. The customer service was seamless and friendly with a focus on assuring a great stay. I highly recommend this property for a wonderful get-away for a family or a group of friends.
6/09/2013You can't possibly make a better choice! We recently had the pleasure of a week long stay at this gorgeous townhouse in Antibes! What a gem! The pictures show an accurate depiction of the house. The locale is perfect for a seaside holiday. Local markets, charming restaurants, easy access to other towns along the Cote d'Azur make Antibes a most perfect location.
We were able to make meals in the fully equipped kitchen or walk a few steps and choose from a number of patios for dining.
The owners were very easy to deal with, and the property manager Suzanne was accessible and most helpful.
The narrow streets and limited parking necessitated a short 10 minute walk to a secure and reasonably priced underground lot. Not a big deal at all. We bought a week's pass and used our car three times during the week for trips to Cannes, Monaco, Eze, and St. Paul de Vence. All of it was fabulous and coming home to our beautiful house felt so good.
We would recommend this rental wholeheartedly!
Vera A.Vera A.5/18/2013Dreams come true - perfect stay at Cote Azur The welcome wine, the possibility to make a pasta or have an aperitivo after arrival or the occitane gifts in the bathroom, the very comfortable beds and the really elegant style of the house No 14 made this week as the best that we have had in Antibes. We missed nothing.
5/10/2013Perfect location We had a very enjoyable stay at Maison du Bateau over Easter. The owners & Suzanne were very helpful in offering tips for our visit and thoughtfully preparing a welcome basket. The property was comfortable and well-stocked. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring Antibes. The Marché Provencal is just steps away, and our three small children enjoyed playing across the (pedestrian-only) street from the house while overlooking the Mediterranean. We parked our car five minutes away at the Place de la Poste (EUR 59 for the week) as recommended, and used it for roadtrips to Monaco, Cannes, Eze, St-Paul-de-Vence, and Nice, all worth seeing.
Marianne W.4/10/2013Maison du Bateau This lovely house offered everything we could wish for in a vacation home. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well stocked. We really appreciated the quality toiletries and those nice thick bath towels! The whole house was spotless, comfortable and convenient. The WiFi helped us stay in touch with family back home, and the phone for calls within France was a bonus. And of course having Suzanne nearby to answer questions and make suggestions was an added bonus.
Just steps away is the Marche Provencal which we visited almost every day-such a choice of fresh fruit and veg., cheese, olives-you name it! And several local restaurants in the immediate area offered us lots of choice when we wanted to go out for a meal.
Probably our fondest memory will be the walks along the seafront-a miinute's walk away- both day and night, taking in the enchanting Mediterranean and local colour.
Maison du Bateau is certainly one of the best homes we have stayed in, and worth a repeat.carol a.10/24/2012Maison du Bateau The house is perfectly located in the old Town in Antibes, close to the Musee Picasso ( well worth a visit) and the Marche Provencal ( Market). The Market opens at 8.00 and was also open on the Mon of our stay. Fantastic for fruit, veg, cheese etc The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated with comfy beds and air conditioning. Good showers and the Cable TV and wifi was an added bonus.
The owners are a delight to deal with and the local housekeeper - Suzanne is wonderfully helpful. It takes a lot to impress us but we'd certainly return to Maison du Bateau.l1+GyMD34e7S2q9GJ7Z2NRD8SDWA3F5Lp/QPiAnEI7Hy5Sm/OJj3Weizs2Fb8u9U l.8/09/2012Amazing house. Come here immediately. The photos and descriptions of Maison du Bateau don't do it justice. We had an amazing, relaxing stay here in May 2012. The owners and the property manager, Suzanne, couldn't have made meeting up and getting acquainted with the house any easier.
The house is in a great location, just one block from the Marche Provencale (Provencal Market) and the Picasso Museum. Almost everything in Antibes is accessible by foot from their house, and the fully-stocked cook's kitchen is a rare find in home vacation rentals. We didn't have a problem getting fresh fruit, meats and vegetables from the Provencal Market and finding everything we needed to make delicious meals.
I wouldn't hesitate to book Maison du Bateau again, and will recommend to all of my friends that they visit Antibes and the Maison.Ann K.6/01/2012Superb! The very best! Your property is world class and your agent Suzanne, a wonderful, helpful chatty Brit. We have stayed in many VRBO and Homeaway rentals over the years -- in fact, just spent a week in Boston to visit grandchildren -- and yours tops the list. It is perfectly located between the farmers' market and the sea. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which had everything we needed and eating dinner in the beautiful dining room. And for nighttime quiet as well as access to old Antibes, it is unbeatable.
We will gladly return and recommend the property to our friends.Simon T.3/28/2012Excellent choice My family and I had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. It was a stone's throw away from the the sea, in the middle of the historic centre of Antibes, right beside the Picasso museum. A lovely, historic old house that had been renovated with taste and attention to detail. I would recommend it without hesitation. The owner and his agent were a delight to deal with, as was the babysitter Annie that they recommended. My 3 and 8 yo children were very happy to stay with her while my wife and I dined at the fabulous restaurant overlooking the bay that is only a short stroll away (Les Vieux Murs). A fine choice for a great holiday.
Richard C.8/25/2011It was a privilege to stay here Maison du Bateau is in a perfect position, just a short distance from the beach and the market, in the rue du Bateau which has all the charm and character of a typical vieil Antibes street.
The house itself is attractive and finished to a high standard. You have the choice of buying food in the local market and preparing it in the very well equipped kitchen or going to one of the many restaurants nearby, including Le Figuier de Saint-Esprit, a Michelin starred restaurant just a few minutes walk away. The food is wonderful but it is very expensive!
It's actually better not to have a car here as parking is difficult but this isn't a problem as Antibes is easy to walk round and has a good bus service and the other towns along the coast can be reached by train.
The owner and his representative are both helpful and informative.ghCEsBYhA8W0eMIU9/YBHZ69+S+VZF6mS598k8A7iz5uzFCX/tqBSJycD99YOWx3 g.8/10/2011What a perfect place... We stayed at Maison du Bateau and could only wish to have been able to stay longer. We could easily have moved in.
The location is perfect. Literally steps away from the Picasso Museum and the view of the sea. Right around the corner is the public market area...imagine getting fresh fruits and cheeses for a nice afternoon treat. We walked to all of the wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. It's close to everything, but quiet enough to not be in the middle of the city center.
The house itself is very charming. It feels like your own home. Fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning in every room, and extremely comfortable and relaxing.
There's practically no need to leave Antibes!w7pTaWihlMPDjjFuOyvZJN7z5B+SCnTupFD9TQrtwRe7p1nsZoh5VBExrZZIF+xbtdtkZLBqUkjGhzAAk5gcvvb1hEdXU6CLQJF7 w.7/01/2011
